well since we've won alot more titles than sporting, and were formed first, id like to disagree.


but then again theres only one club in liverpool, everton.


and at the guy above, i meant in all competitions.

and no most of my comments arent negative, only recently cause, recently alot of liverpool fans have been posting absurb things such as.

suarez is one of the best players in the world.
telling someone to rot because they dont play for liverpool.

and quite alot of other stupid things that ive argued with, then again id lose interest in these forums if i didnt get into a few arguments, such as the one above where someone is saying sporting is the only club in lisbon, althought they're very very small compared to benfica. but whatever, thats another absurb thing you guys come up with.

the only reason you know sporting lisbon is cause of ronaldo, a player you guys hate cause to be honest hes probably better than any former liverpool player, and played for united. ( thought im sure alot of you will disagree ).

or you'll agree but say hes a diver and a cheat ( you dont mind suarez doing it thought do you? course not... )

and if by biast you mean not agreeing with someone and arguing with them, then sure im biast. but by biast i mean what everyone else means, i dont pick any favorites, as i dont support any club in england, okay fair enougth, i have a huge dislike for arsenal, but i've never even posted in their board so, doesnt matter about them.

its just, some teams have really cocky fans, which i dont really like to be honest, so i start a war pretty much with a bunch of people just to see if i can firstly change their opinion, and if not then just to piss them off really

but eh.

point is, arguments is what makes forums go round, so why not get into some.

Our record in european competition against portuguese opposition in portugal is 2nd to none and cant be bettered by any other english club.

As for "hating" ronaldo,he was disliked because he played for the mancs but that does'nt mean Liverpool supporters doubtd his ability,he plays in spain now so hes old news.

English LFC supporters have every right to "hate" him after his disgraceful behaviour when he got rooney sent off,or will you justify that?

Who did you get to spell your user name for you? Clearly it wasn't you as you've just used the word 'biast' on three occasions in your last post. May I suggest you vacate this board and plague some other group of supporters. A certain team from Salford springs to mind......................

Speaking of diving- anyone see Arjen Robben's performance last night?
Pulls at a defender between him and the ball, gets a flailing arm somewhere near his face for his trouble, goes down holding said face as though shot and proceeds to roll about a bit. Peers through his fingers to see if the ref's interested, sees everyone else is up at the other end of the pitch by now. Gets up and carries on.
I believe he got taken off later but I'd gone out by then.
Great player, but as irritating as a sandy crack.

Oh and the child trying to diss my english speaking abilities, i speak quite good english, write and read quite well also, i dont write in perfect grammar on a football forum cause i dont wish to, its as simple as that, i type pretty quick and cant be asked to look over my whole post to check that every sentence is spelt correctly. anyone can type in perfect grammar if they take the time to do it, i find it funny people use it as an insult nowadays, its not offensive in the slightest.

Sorry guys, first time I've revisited my post after leaving work yesterday, didn't expect this many replies. I've heard/read nothing more of the Aquilani situation today, I still don't get how his agent has gone from saying that he will definitely stay and fight for his position this coming season to claiming he is near a deal for a season loan move next season.

As PMK says the Sporting reference was made - well partly - in jest. However, you are totally wrong in your assumption regarding my knowledge of Sporting. My relationship with Sporting goes back over 30 years. One of my very best friends comes from Alcobaca and supports Sporting. He has taken me to their matches many times and I have done the same for him at Liverpool. Making assumptions can be very dangerous. I can also chant Sporting's songs regarding Benfica to you in Portugese if you really wish. As you will know of the 2 Lisbon clubs, Sporting consider themselves to be the aristocrats.

Where I think you may be going wrong is to consider argument as productive. It is not it is aggressive and merely evokes aggressive responses. However, discussion and debate is far more open and likely to lead to a far more positive outcome for all involved.

If it was the other way around and I was back at Roma after a loan in England, would i be trawling twitter and the local press, figuring out from these that fans are panicking and respond by guaranteeing i'm staying even though the situation may be pretty fluid? Agents are paid to drum up interest in their clients. If it wasn't for Aquilani's then the guy would have dropped off the radar to a large degree. He's trying to do the best by his player and sometimes that means playing both sides, so that ok, Aquilani may not have 1 dream option, but he'll still have a couple of good options to choose from.

Erm well personally i'd love to see him stay and want to stay himself. I think he's a fairly unique player, and don't think we could replace him for anything like the value in keeping him. That said i do think he is probably on his way out. He had a hard time from the moment he signed, was loaned out before he could settle in the team, and as much as i'd like everyone to love our club from the moment they join it, that's not always going to be the case, and i wouldn't blame him for feeling no affinity with Liverpool. It's a tough one, but yeah i'd like him to stay but think he will go (and will console myself with the fact we have plenty of other options in the middle).
