New signings always get a number as soon as they sign. Returning loanees do as well, but in Aquilani's case, his number (#4) was taken by Meireles.
 
Absolutely shocking if this is true, a possible flair player going.
First injury plagued season, came back towards end with some very good performances when probably not 100% match fit after lay off and not haveing any of the usual 'time to get accustomed to the premier league pace'
Old Roy got a hell of a slagging for sending him out on loan so if it happens again, i'm afraid it has to be critisized in the same way
Fair enough if he wants to go, sell him, so we can at least invest in a replacement not just see his value decrease as his cntract runs
If he goes then some midfield flair is definitely needed, or a back up striker
 
I think if a player walks into Anfield, spray-paints "**** you stupid Reds" all over the place and then takes a dump on Kenny's desk - while he's eating lunch! - Comolli should march into some club's bank, take the money from their account by whatever force is necessary and put Alberto Fancypants Hotshot Bighead Aquilani on a slow boat back to his mamma.

But I'm really speculating because I don't have a ****ing clue what he, the club, Kenny or Comolli think right now. I do know that my 2nd choices aren't usually things I hate just because they're not my 1st choice but he's Italian and I don't even like spaghetti. It's too messy. I like the little shell pasta so you get a bit of tuna and cream tucked in there and it's really delicious.

So maybe FIorentina can't afford the fee just now, Kenny doesn't see him as a requirement and FSG would rather get rid of the wage and take the fee later. Oh, look at me speculating again. Tch.
 
Maybe Kenny doesn't think he's up to playing in the premiership.
He didn't justify selection in the premier league after his performance against Hull when he was anonymous.Then again he wasn't the only one as Ngog and Poulsen and Cole were also dreadful.
 
If this happens I am really dissapointed in Kenny and Comoli. What is the point in having a player if he just goes on loan with no experience to gain? If they really don't want him and he doesn't want to play, then surely the only thing to do is to sell him. I would much rather he did stay though, as I think he is one of the best flair players we have got and offers us something extra.

I remember how dissapointed I was when boring Hodgson sent him out last season, I really hope we don't do the same again.

if i cant give my opinion it kinda defies the logic of a football forum dumbass, i saw a thread and i posted on it, you've got a problem? do i care? no?

i dont have to be a liverpool fan to post on the liverpool board, and i deffinately dont need your approval.

i also find that any fan like that from any club ruins football, just see alot more of them on the liverpool board.

and what has it got to do with me? well what has it got to do with you?

Apparently rumours of the loan are false according to Aquilanis agent.There may be the possibility of a permanent deal.Liverpool and Fiorentina are allegedly in negotiations with Aquilani looking for a €1.5 million golden handshake from Liverpool as he will have to take pay cut to join Fiorentina.
 
I'm all for healthy banter and such between rival clubs but throwing around insults is just unnecessary lads. Come on. Let's not droop to their level.

You are right to say that you are free to make comment upon the topic under discussion. Where you make your mistake is to assume that you are free to comment on how Liverpool fans comment upon their HOME board. If you do so then you can expect to recieve the kind of reaction that you recieved.

So, if you've got anything relevant to say upon the Aquilani situation then do so, if not, then follow your own advice in your fianl paragraph.

yet we're the most succesful club in the country by quite a distance, and we're in the champions league next year.
thats like me saying liverpool is a minor club on merseyside. You know nothing off benfica yet call us minor.

I'd say having won 32 leagues ( minor league or not ) gotten into 7 champions league finals, and having won of the most talented strikers to walk this world play for us ( Eusebio ) is deffinately not minor.

and btw "supposed to support"? what do you mean exactly.

Is there a specific reason you spend most of your not606 time on the Liverpool board looking for arguments and calling people fools?

I've said to you before that your views on Liverpool are in the main always negative and your views are in no way unbiased.Your final post on the LFC board last night i believe was to call terrifictraore a fool for pointing out Rooney's abysmal scoring record for a striker of 12 goals per season(apart from 2 seasons ago),you then stated Rooney's total goals for the last 4 seasons in the prem was better than any other striker in the prem during the same 4 years.

As you know you were wrong,why not chill instead of using confrontation as a way of getting your point accross?
