I know that, but does that mean right now, there are no (valid) APT rules in place? As in you can't need to have 14 votes to amend unlawful rules. So it can only mean they are.now void until new ones agreed, right?
City are claiming the rules are void and I believe them, but only time will tell. At worst a new vote is required and they'll try to formulate a new set of rules that can stop Newcastle and City without hampering 14 voters or breaching competition law. if they can't achieve that it's still a win of sorts. The rules have to appeal to 14 clubs, stop City and Newcastle and be legal.
I was thinking exactly this. If the rules have indeed unlawfully affected our ability to do business within the rules of commercial law. And stopped us getting commercial deals. That is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I can see this potentially being the end of the PL and this could in fact fast track the “regulator”. I think this is all good news for little old Newcastle who have been just playing by the rules. And let’s not forget. We have history with NDM. Be very interesting to see if they scrap the rules altogether.
May be hard for us to prove though in a legao case though, unless the club has evidence of genuine deal agreements that were in place but prevented by the rules.
The clubs will want to find a solution, but it won't be straight forward. The Premier Leagues hilarious attempt to simply brush this off as a minor issue is just another example of how shameless they are. I also particularly like the 'it's only' two breaches which is not only a lie apparently, but also the type of thing a stupid child would say when they got caught committing foul play. Oh hideho officer I'm only 2 times over the limit.
Yeah it's time to just drive our tanks right over the top of the Premier Leagues smouldering old bones.
If any clubs think the Government will risk upsetting the Saudis then they are more stupid than I thought.
They can all shrivel up and die for all I care.. I want to see those who've been fortunate suffer more than I want fortune.
Yeah. People like Chippy, who has spent years getting paid to go abroad and take photos of random people's pints of beer. Make him suffer!
