I worried when shots came in to Reina because of errors made in years.

I'm very confident in Mignolet's ability to deal with any shot coming his way right now.

Anecdotal evidence perhaps, but to me we feel stronger and more secure without Pepe. I don't mind the kicking. I'd prefer this to us conceding..

Despite the occasional flapping at crosses, Mig has looked good at shot stopping - the primary characteristic we look for in a keeper. Reina struggled over the past year or so and ultimately cost us points.

Yes - Reina's distribution is brilliant. But that should be seen as a bonus for a keeper. Whilst we do not know how Reina would have performed in these last 2 games, we CAN say that Mig has saved/won us points.

Just one last thing to say on Toure - I loved the way he a) won a header against Benteke in the box which then fell to Agbon, and b) how he screamed at Hendo for letting Agbon get to the second ball.

    Leader and vocal.

He plays like he's been at the club for years. His experience on the training pitch and in the dressing room is also a huge bonus <ok>

The way he's playing it'll take someone pretty special to take his place in the first 11.

And how the goons laughed at us for signing him, they could do with him!

We didnt hammer Villa though did we? They had more chances than us. Im over the moon we won but like I say the whole hog is if we battered them with it

Exactly my thoughts on this situation <ok>

We knew Mingolet was good at shot stopping and now weve seen it first hand

Best keeper in the league. Said so throughout last season. It can never be easy for a keeper to join a new club of LFCs stature, but it is good to see that he picked up where he left off.

Still concerned about him at crosses, but just hoping he needs 3 or 4 games to get his nerves settled and be more confident. His shot stopping is 2nd to none. The only worrying thing is how poor he is with his feet. Passing is average but the one when Agger knocked it back to him (admittedly it wasn't the best pass back) but just failed to control and thankfully it wasn't infront of the goal or could have been an OG
