    He could just as easily become turd though, is my point. Its a lot of money on a kid, who has had a season and a half of premier league football.

    Yes, he could. We don't yet know but the reason he is so expensive and that United are willing to pay over the odds is the potential he clearly has.

    It could well go tits up, no one is suggesting otherwise, but we are paying a premium for those things. If we get 15 years out of him it won't seem so expensive.

    You wouldn't do likewise for a foreign kid as he could be homesick after a month!!

    Shows the FA is in Man Utd's pocket. If they were really fair- they would ban Luke Shaw for at least 2 months for Chewy Suarez's bite!

    Unless of course anyone can prove to me that Luke Shaw WASN'T using advanced mind control to make Luis go on a rampage! I've watched the old 1950's Godzilla films... I know mind control is real!
