Yeah they sold a lot, its not as if they haven't got any money to spend - Wenger is too stubborn. He has needed a big centre back and holding midfielder for years now and still hasn't signed them

Don't understand why he didn't go for Cahill, though Cahill has been **** this year and struggled badly on Friday.

Yeah he would do well for Arsenal. Him and Samba would make a class partnership for them imo. Should have got Parker when they had a chance. If I was Wenger I'd move for Tiote - but, glad I'm not because wouldn't want him to go anywhere lol

Don't shout that too loudly, because if he does Ashley will see pounds sign.

I'm disappointed in Cappello, he's been too inconsistent for me with regards his team selections. He said he would only choose on form players, this has not been the case. Ledley King and Rio Fedinand should never have travelled to the world cup last year, due to their lack of fitness.
The England captaincy, what a fiasco, it seemed to change game to game. For those who think what happens off the pitch should not affect what happens on the pitch, John Terry must have torn that team down the middle, Rio Ferdinand is not fit so Stevie G is captain. Certain members of the press reported that Gerrard may have worn the armband but JT was still calling the shots on the pitch.
I can't believe that we are now making excuses for the bad behaviour of Rooney last week, even the FA are according to the press asking for leniency, good signals being given out here don't you think, because Rooney has issues of the pitch.
Bad behaviour is forgiven far too quickly these days, especially where money is involved, for all the Rooney supporters here, being a professional sportsman comes with responsibility, I'm not talking about being a role model to kids etc., I'm a parent, I should be a role model to my kids, not some celebrity on tv, either through sport or music,or however people earn their living. The responsibility is to their club, their supporters, their sponsors and of course themselves. Their lifestyles affect their game, at least during the football season, they should maintain their fitness to the best of their ability.

Good for you, :emoticon-0148-yes: I shall look out for Agent Bruce top. I'm working till 3, will be hot footing it to town, easy to spot, will be getting on the metro at South Shields, gasping after 200m dash, will be rising from the recovery position by Central Station, may be breathing normally by Haymarket. Will likely have to make minor sprint to ground, but unless serious drama unfolds during first half, normal breathing should be resumed.

I'm in the GG end, be hard to spot from the East Stand.

Hope you're not too breathless to enjoy our magnificent win.

Not really what I had in mind, my husband morphs into god knows what when Shola plays. I've told him, when the stewards come to drag him out, he's on his own. Thank God mod face is in the Milburn stand, not the east stand, at least I wont have to use my connections to save him. <laugh>

Aye AB, seems hard to believe that Shola can reduce one of the most civilised, well behaved men in the region, to a T***.
Let's hope he never meets Michael Owen.!!!!!!!
