How many people react like LIW if the results are poor simple sack the manager as I said I was talking to an old friend of mine at Town on Tuesday as he said its gone crazy the average lifespan of a manager in our league is 14 months .If NW is so poor how come he has won so many promotions it can,t all be luck.We had a good manager IN sG but you called for his head .Ferguson bought a player recently for £7m he cant sell him for 100k do you sack him for that no of course you don,t .Whilst I agree Peltier is not worth more than 200k Rudolph is worth 7o0 k and no doubt Hall will be worth a few bob eventually .Stability is the answer and investment not a new managerlets hope thye new regime brings some light to our future.Lets face it anybody would be better than the cretin we have now
Leeds60 Are you paying £30 every week mate, because listening to it on the radio is a hell of alot easier than watching this rubbish. Warnock has had 3 promotions from the champ, notts county 20 years ago, sheffield utd who it took 7 years to do, and qpr where he had 4 times more money than everyone else. And to be honest I couldnt care what hes done, only what hes doing and going to do. He's had £2m to spend on transfer that more than about 6 clubs only. Poor manager, who should be sacked
LIW, have you only started going to games? I ask this because I've been watching most matches through my fingers since we got relegated. This is the first season for a long time that I've felt a bit more comfortable about our defence. Only a bit, mind, but I see potential that we've not had for years. Then again, our attack's been not bad during this time, but there's no doubt it's on the slide this year. Ease off, LIW, I really don't think another manager could do better under Bates. We probably don't know the half of problems that our managers have faced under the old bastard.
Managers do eventually lose the ability to manage well. Just because a manager has been successful doesn't mean they always will be. It's why they eventually retire. Their methods become antiquated, or they lose their motivational skills, and the players no longer respect them as they can see the manager's past it. Warnock may simply no longer have what it takes.
Whitejock I think pearce is poor, same as lees. Both havent the scope to be good The only thing that has improved defensively is that there arent alarming mistakes, but were still **** at the back. 24th year on the bounce has a season ticket holder. Worse side ive seen in that time
I think this is the worst football ive ever seen Leeds play. Luck will not get you promoted, We have a few good players Kenny,Pearce,Byram,Diouf and Austin a bit, thats about it we don't have any great players. Its awful to watch.
Can't say that I agree that they're poor, LIW. I think we all had such high expectations at the beginning of the season, probably because we actually spent cash money. Bound to get us excited as it doesn't happen very often. I think both are solid, and have the potential to be even better. Peltier too, imho, is also a solid CB rather than a RB. Sadly, they're teaching each other, effectively. I would prefer if any one of them was playing alongside an old experienced pro that could organise and educate them. Who knows what January might bring .... TBH, I think one simple stat dictates that we've had a worse team than this one - the one that took us down to L1 !!
TBH, I think one simple stat dictates that we've had a worse team than this one - the one that took us down to L1 !! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Down to bad management, You talk about pearce and lees, like they are youngsters, they are 25 and 22 and nearly played 400 pro games between them. They arent going to get faster, or be suddenly be able to win headers in the air, and dont get me started on there actually football ability. What does solid mean. I want good players, not ones who "do a job"

I was thinking the same about the likes of jewell. I really rated him
I was going to play devils advocate guys but you beat me to it The thought had occurred to me that perhaps he's past his best as although nobody can dispute his promotion record the fact is that he spent **** loads at Sheff U getting them up and was reportedly on his last chance to get them up that season at the time - I remember the jokes in the media at the time that he likes a striker or two and had something like 8 at Sheff U that season they finally came up! At QPR again he spent shed loads of money, not on transfers but on short term loan player wages and free transfers to get them up - players that were regarded as the type good enough to get you out of the Championship and they only went there because of the massive wages on offer.
