I reckon it was a cross, anyways I'm even gloomier about the derby now after watching Newcastle compared to us yesterday. They have given them a game, we didn't. Newcastle get plenty of shots in on goal, we don't. Newcastle look threatening going forward, we don't. Newcastles centre midfield is involved in the game, ours don't get involved. Very harsh, but true!

It's Ben Arfa, even in a quieter game you can juts see the lads class every time he gets the ball.

Tiote, I maintain, just doesn't do much.

We've both lost games we expected to this weekend, and maybe we both needed a slap to wake us up anyway.

Their defense is the weakness but make up for it in midfield, i think we should play 5 accross the middle against them, thats where the derby will be won or lost imo

If our first choice centre half pairing are still out, you will hurt is on set plays. We get plenty of shots in but not enough on target. I thought we gave them a decent game after their 2nd. Could do nothing about the 3rd.

    Yes he does!
He squeals like a little lass every time someone comes near him then rolls about as if shot. <ok>

Every time a tackle went in the Scum were all screaming and waving their arms about like pussies.
Even when they knew the ball had been won cleanly.
The thunderbird puppet on the sideline was just as bad.
It looked like a tactic they had set up before the game, they were running from all sides of the pitch to get in the refs face after every tackle.

Always back the away win whenever Howard Webb is reffing the Mancs away from OT.

Its like buying money I tell ye.

I doubt it, it was clearly accidental. I think RVP will be fine too. Webb had a clear view of it and didn't feel it was worthy of anything at all. Nothing doing on either count and best left.

Comparing Jonas challenge to Cattermoles was the highlight of your original post though, highly amusing.

Clearly you know what you're talking about - wonder if you'd have thought the same had Cattermole committed the same challenge - all of the lads in the office I work in admit that Tiote should've been sent off for that stamp yet you think it was an accident - he's a dirty ****er (as is Cabaye) but they appear to be able to do it without the retribution others get

Its beggars belief the hypocrisy WP is showing with his recent crusades against Cattermole.

I'd think exactly the same. The lads in the office need their eyes tested too. In no way shape or form would that resemble a stamp. A good example of a stamp is Rooney in the WC. Following through on a tackle and trodding on his leg is not a stamp. You could say he deliberately trod on his leg, but it is still not a stamp. I'm sure given the number people who saw the challenge (ref, fellow Man U players) they'd have been hopping if it had been stamp or deliberate trodding. The only real whining came from Cleverley himself which is understandable as it would have hurt a little bit, not bad but a little bit.

Tiote is a dirty ****er though. He is also very clumsy. Constant niggly challenges aimed at upsetting the oppo. Nothing too malicious but there is a reason he is booked in 50% of our games. Cabaye not so much, more just a huffiness with him when he gets kicked. The Bardsley incident aside I can't remember too many where he has went out of his way to hurt someone without provacation or in self preservation (Spearing)

I don't think they get away with much though.

No crusade against Cattermole. As I've noted many times if he could sort his head out he'd make a decent DM. There is just no getting away from the fact that the lad is guilty of losing his nut and throwing in ridiculously bad challenges. Some are meant, some are accidental (lunging after a bad touch). Very different to the challenge from Tiote yesterday which is just accidental.

If I was gonna be hypocritical then I'd be banging on about RVP. As it is I have no real problem with RVP elbow. I don't know why everyone is getting so excited, it didn't look too bad to me. If he'd meant to hurt him badly I'm sure Cabayes face would have been a mess. Obviously he shouldn't have put his arm into his face but we are in danger of becoming complete and utter pussies in my book if we take retrospective action against him.

Not "Hurt" someone persay so I agree there but he went through the back of 3 different players yesterday and didn't get spoken to - committed 4 fouls as bad as Scholes 1 foul and Scholes got booked but Cabaye didn't - he is immune from yellow cards

I couldn't see anything where he deserved a yellow yesterday. i thought a couple of their bookings were questionable, Scholes included. I don't think he really "went through" anyone Cabaye. Yes he had a couple of kicks at people from behind trying to get to balls he couldn't, but nothing worthy of a yellow. To be honest I don't think there many yellows out there bar Jonas and Rio. Both deserved their yellows, one for lateness even if he did pull out of it, and Rio's was a bit naughty from behind.
