I suppose the difference between the millionaire and the billionaire is that the billionaire is able to identify a change in form before the event manifests into the reality of the general perception. The millionaire awaits a tangible empirical fact before making his decision.

Was that apparent banker selection founded upon form or some other variable?

I agree, however the next 4 games have the potential to change that comfortable position very easily. I do however thoroughly believe that we will secure enough points required to maintain our comfortable position. Although as it stands today and until the results of the next 4 fixtures are known, SAFC could slip into a relegation battle just as easily as Norwich.

I just looked out for the season struggler's that you have played at home. Nothing too scientific in there!

I might reword my statement after all this...

I think Sunderland will be safe personally. That is all. Nothing to do with Norwich.

All predictions are my own, not influenced by any other person. I reserve the right to withdraw this opinion at any time. I packed my bags myself and have not left them unattended at any time.

Nice one Cest, glad to be of service.

Right next question... Who sees United getting past Madrid in the Champions League? Vindaloo I'm gonna need stats, who's playing who in between, a guide on Mourinho head to head with Fergie, who's in the starting line up's (probably) then their individual head to heads, a 4 pack of Magners, 2 rubber ducks some hand lotion and a picture of Megan Fox on a Sybian. Or we could just have a guess. ;)

I'm gonna say 2-2 Bernabeu then 3-2 Old Trafford. Forever the optimist.

Laters all, have a good night.

Aye you can always rely upon a gentlemanly exchange upon a football forum to rekindle the spirit after a few days in the doldrums my mackem brother.

Or as another option, you can always enjoy a good laugh at the expense of our deluded neighbours!

COULD go either way! Hopefully United will progress although you have a couple of tough games there... Enjoy.

    Terry,

Man Utd have only won 2 out of 13 games in Spain, you have never won at Real Madrid. Ferguson has only beaten Mourinho twice out of fourteen games. Real Madrid have scored in 31 out of their last 32 games in the champions league. Man Utd have scored in 28 of their last 32 games. This game has been played at Real Madrid 4 times, Real Madrid have scored 9 goals, Man Utd 5.

Prediction: Real Madrid 2 - 1 Man Utd

    ------------------------------------------------------

This game has also been played at Man Utd 4 times. Man Utd have a record of 2-1-1. Real Madrid have scored 8 goals in these games, Man Utd have netted 9 times. Over 60% of the Games at Old Trafford have ended in draws between Mourinho and Ferguson. Real Madrid have lost less than half of their games in England.

Prediction: Man Utd 2 - Real Madrid 2

    --------------------------------------------------------

    Sorry mate

No need to apologise mate, that's some good research right there, thanks.

Last time we went there we had to contend with Ronaldo (fat goofy), Figo, Zidane and Raul in the same team. I still can't get over how good that side was.
