Santon is quite good with his left foot, pacy and tricky too. So we may see those Hollywood style runs Enrique constantly did and some decent crosses from him.

Some people are fools, it's been a complete and utter failure of a window yet again for NUFC thanks to the idiots running this club. That's not to say that the dealings we actually managed to do were bad, it's just that all we REALLY needed was going to be a left back and couple of strikers, we knew this since Carroll left 7 MONTHS AGO. The number 9 shirt is now vacant what the ****.

The fat man had 35 million to spend but I had my suspicions after Best scored two at the weekend that that was the end of our striker 'search'. The Ruiz bid was a lie, a smokescreeen, it doesn't make sense that it stalled on personal terms if we offered better ones than Fulham. There's something we're not being told yet again, he's mugged us off yet again, ****ing disgrace.

So you've decided to make something up to ensure everyone else is the fool?

As Amy, 26 from Huddesfield says "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt. " <ok>

Why does it always have to be delusionally happy vs pathetically negative? What's with all the inflammatory articles? Seems to me like the vast majority of people on this forum are in fact saying that they are quite happy with the transfers made this window EXCEPT we haven't signed a striker which is a real shame/pain/annoying etc. It is possible to have mixed feelings about it and not be "full of ****".

Sorry if your delicate sensibilities have been offended pal, I'll rephrase it to 'acting foolish' then. Fact is we've seen it time and again from this lot. Feel quite sorry for Pardew even though he's brought it on himself working with MA and DL, he's the one who's going to have to once again bear the brunt of everybody's justified anger instead of those cowards above him.

I'm not denying we needed another striker (after Ba) and didn't get one, which is inexcusable. However if we play 4-5-1 or 4-2-3-1 then we should have enough to see us through to January as Ba and Best can rotate. Also aside from striker we had a brillaint transfer window, just look at Cabaye and Santon.

I agree with that assessment Wedge Head Tiote, the dealings we've done are great but not getting another striker in is pathetic and there is no excuse for it. This regime is a disgrace. Joey Barton was right, Jose Enrique was right, Kevin Keegan was right - this club spent net about half a million quid in this window after getting 35mil in January. Sorry but you just can't dress that up, no ambition under Ashley, you have to able to see what they're doing.
