Bad luck Man Utd, life can be a bitch sometimes huh?
No surprise to see us 3rd though after the dreadful start to the season for referees at our games and the debacle at the Emirates last week.

I thought we had it worst than that. We've had soft penalties given against us but escaped some stonewall ones too. So penalties against is even. But we have only been given two all season and we should have had way more.
1. Man Utd blew it, choked, you name it, 8 points clear and they were hauled back, only themselves to blame!
2. Their players are worth tens of millions, yet the "key decisions against them" wouldn't matter if they actually performed and scored goals.
3. Anyway, who is to say that all those penalties that might have been awarded, would have been scored?
In the end of the day, Man Utd lost the title when they got beaten home and away by their rivals.
Blue Moon is rising, and they (Man City) fully deserve it.

There's an interesting question in the background here, about WHY the teams who have fared particularly badly in this respect, or particularly well, have done so. Could it be that Fergie's reputation for trying to put pressure on officials is actually working against him? And with regard to Stoke, could it be that their reputation for, er, shall we say "physicality", benefits them because referees are constantly subjected to hearing people say "it's a contact sport for God's sake" and "are we trying to outlaw the tackle?" etc., etc.
as i suspected, for us, its pretty much evened itself out. but what is startling, is that of the 55 key decisions in matches we've featured in this season, 23 were wrong! that is an absurd amount of errors from officials and nowhere near good enough.
also interesting that despite the comments from gooners, arsenal have actually had more than their fair share of luck with decisions this season!
