Unbelievable! Ive been ill all weekend feeling a little sorry for myself but Lambo, Holt and co never fail to make me feel better.

Buzzin right now whenever I look at the table.

8 points of champions league, 4 points off Liverpool (who should be deducted points for their recent conduct) and perhaps even safe from relegation already if we didnt pick up a single point from now.

Just incredible!!!!!
 
Anyone else out there like me? I agree with all that has been said and know that we are only 4 points below Liverpool and only need another 2 wins to be safe BUT I still look nervously at the points total of the Club third from bottom and wonder if it could still all go horribly wrong.

I'm sure most of us do 1950. After watching the Wolves debacle on MOTD2, I was left thinking that was the kind of season I was expecting us to go through! It's just been the most fabulous ride and to top it all we almost have a free run at the FA Cup because of our amazing points tally already.

On the old Snakpit site I had a bet with Dave at the beginning of the season that we would finish 12th, I would like to amend that now to 10th!
Saturdays can't come quick enough for me at the moment!!!!! YELLOWS.

PS. I seem to remember the bet was a case of malt???????

i really don't think any of the bottom five clubs are capable of reaching 35 points to be honest. saturday's win means we can settle back, look up and enjoy the ride. hopefully we can get through in the cup and give ourselves a shot of turning this brilliant season into a truly historic one <ok>

We are not suggesting that we think we will get relegated but I will be honest and say that I thought we would before the season started. Because of that, what I am saying is that I have got so accustomed to looking down at the bottom of the table fearing that it might all go wrong and I don't think I will get out of that habit until it is virtually impossible for that to happen. Even yesterday I was thinking - 3 Clubs on 21 points, what if they all get 18 points from their remaining games and we fall apart. I know deep down it is not going to happen and I should be looking up the table and stop worrying and stop thinking about the season in the 70's when it was virtually impossible for us to go down but we did. It just can't happen this time - can it?

I'm glad to see that age has caught up with you ILD, the bet for a BOTTLE of malt was after our promotion from league one, you posted that we would at least make the play-offs in the Championship! When we were promoted I PM'd you for an address to send the BOTTLE of malt, and you kindly declined the chance to take it!

I've drunk it for you and it was superb! <ok>

OK the fog's cleared now! Yes I remember that bet, and after I got over my seizure, (thats all I can put it down to) and refused your kind offer, we had another bet about the Premier positions. I distinctly remember saying Norwich would finish 12th, and it was for two cases of malt.
Memory fully restored and working well. Hope your's soon gets restored!!! <ok> Do you deliver or shall I arrange collection?

That thread was on Snakepit you bugger and you know that!!!!! Still I will be claiming my 3 cases even if we have to go to arbitration, so stop squirming and get ready to pay up.

Was just thinking, how much trust can we really place in this City board? They issue a seven year plan only to scrap it a year later and predict relegation back to the Championship after only a year. <doh> Do these people know what they're doing? Doesn't look like it to me. :steam:
