I'm very happy with not606, not bothered about JA new designs always take a bit of getting used to but it will happen, no need to cling onto the old, we've got the new! UP THE FOXES!
JA606 not working is obviously a factor...but I am warming to this format! Random thought of the day: In a few years time, do you think someone new to football message boards might wonder why most have '606' somewhere in their title?
The new format does take time getting used to bit when you get comfortable with it it is better then 606's layout
Anyway - To answer the question - Do I miss BBC 606 - No not at all, the site started dying as soon as it announced it was closing - Add to that over-moderation to the point where innocuous articles/comments were disappearing to appease a bunch of chronic complainers who have the sensitivity settings of a eight year old girl - No I do not miss BBC 606
Danger - you're right about the moderation - it was definately excessive. Although I still liked 606; it was simple, easy to use and always had a good stream of new members due to the BBC affiliation. The popularity of the site was also shown by the sheer volume of people migrating to JA606 - an exact replica of the BBC site. However, I don't think the layout of this site is hard to get used to because most Internet forums are set out like this.
I used to ppost on here before the close of normal 606. but it started to get slightly lonely here so I waited for ja606 which was PERFECT. Shame its down, but its like coming back from a long holiday on here now I hope ja606 comes back, but now there are a lot of fellow foxes on here i'm happy.

In fairness BBC used to get like a ghost town in closed season - I propose we have more fit generous natured female members who could help us while away the hours until the new season starts That's me off a distinguished road!
Regardless of people's personal opinions of the BBC, it looks like the 'brand name' 606 has come to define football message boards. So that's not too shabby.
Right I know I'm a thicko but on top of that I'm lazy and can't be arsed to look (actually I have and can't find out how to do it) how do you get the image next to your member name to the left of this message? Looks like I'm bedding in for the long haul
