Anyone like the look of this line up?

This, and Ted-from-Scrubs' band, forced us into a name change. thus becoming simply Blank. No one liked it for a while but we stuck with it. We got asked several times over several radio interviews about the reasoning for our name change, much to our annoyance.

 

The line ups quite decent really .
Dont know why but I get the impression that Pardew doesn't fancy Guthrie at all, I actually think a youngster has more of a chance of playing in Tiote's absence, I would agree with this but only when its mathematically impossible to go down.

 

Yeah, had that feeling since before Routledge went, though said the same of Best and Williamson and I've been proved wrong there.

 

I still think the same about Williamson, I think its only a matter of time before hes dropped for Saylor, Saylor still not 100% fit yet.

Nice formation Tash Ben Arfa instead of Feguson when he returns. Unless Ferguson does his cheeky Stoke moves every game!

 

I like the formation, but would be wary of changing things at this stage, but for next season yeah looks good (with a couple of player changes of course)

 

It's not fact, and the reason i put Tiote/Guthrie is because Tiote is suspended. Plus Ben Arfa is out..

AAHHH, this is only the line up for the coming up games not the line up i think's strongest. Why the **** would i put Ben Arfa and Tiote in the squad when they cannot play?

It's quite obviously by the fact that i'm putting in Ferguson that this obviously isn't our strongest line up....

This is the line up i'd play now. Do you really think i'd give Guthrie a second thought if Tiote could play? Come on think for a second people!!!

No, i put Tiote/Guthrie. This is the line up for the upcoming games in the not so distant future. So Guthrie can start there for 2 games, and when Tiote comes back, he'll start back in the CM spot.

 

I missed the game and only saw the goals, did Tiote get sent off?!

 

10th booking of the season, but it was a weak booking and Fuller should have been sent off at 3-0.

 

Ahh ok, misses the Wolves & Villa games then, hmm Guthrie needs to step it up.

Don't see it working IMO. I'll prefer a 451/4411 or a standard 442.

451/4411 would be my choice anyways..

*I'll prefer Ireland in the CAM role because he's quicker and technically much better than Nolan but Nolan has a better ability to put the ball in the back of the net and is quite smart in his movement, so I'm not sure which I'll prefer. I think with a standard 442 we'll be exposed defensively without Tiote's work-rate and defensively solidity and Barton may be a box-to-box but he's not one I'll be confident in playing alongside a sluggish and slow Nolan, I'll prefer we have Nolan/Ireland with Guthrie and Ireland/Nolan having that free role and linking up with Best.. I think Ireland would be the better one but that is a different discussion altogether.
