Anyone like cider?

Can't handle the proper stuff...8%+ but I bought 3 bottles of Henney's from Tesco for £5 on Friday and really enjoyed it...it's a manageable 6% alcohol. Not sure whether it's in the thread lock category...

It's rocket fuel, I love the stuff but is it an acceptable cider to like?

Aspalls cider is pretty decent. I worked in the Cider industry for quite a few years - Was offered a job with Weston's about 10 years ago - turned it down. Really nice cider plant and they turn out some decent juice.
You can't really knock Magners as they were the catalyst for making Cider popular and mainstream again, by simply introducing cider over ice.
My favourite drink by far. There's a nice Cider mill in Cornwall Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm - They make Rattler.

Why drink Irish cider when the West Country of England produces far better stuff?

Magners made Cider cool again in the UK.
They are probably the reason for growth of a lot of micro Cyder producers. I don't drink Magners either, but you can't knock them, as without them introducing cider over ice in Scotland years ago - Cider probably wouldn't be what it is today.
I worked for a decent sized UK Cider manufacturer and you almost couldn't give the stuff away.
