Cisse and Ba are not world class but Ben Arfa is without a doubt a top player and had he come to Arsenal under Wenger's guidance, he would have been as good if not better than Nasri. He was rated highly in France, up there with the likes of Benzema, Nasri, Gourcouff etc..... Wenger revealed in an interview on French TV that he is an admirer of the 21-year-old "If he is for sale, then we are very interested," Wenger said. "He is a great player and Arsenal is a potential destination for any great player." I think we finally have the youngsters coming through/bought that will make the grade. In the next few years we should finally get to the point where we will be up there with the best.
I have it all done now. Thanks for wanting to be part of it though, I appreciate your help. I put Ryo Miyaichi in an article about youngsters to watch out for a few months ago, do you think I'll be proved right?
I think he may need a year or two more. Honestly, predicting Arsenal young players is a bit of a lottery. It is more dependent on which first teamers get injured. If Podolski comes in, and Oxlade-Chamberlain remains fit, he may end up a long way down the pecking order.
I reckon Ben Arfa is the best of the bunch, I'll give you that. But I still think that there are important gaps in his game. I'd still take Theo and Ox before him.
