Yes John, they helped to keep the club afloat and for many years I was one of them 3,000 odd on the Bob Bank on cold wet windy Tuesday night. But thank god we have moved on and would not like to see those days again. I'm not sure that KCB think the same.
Was you up Hull last away game , down bay that brill sunday?........................blue every where scattered with a bit of red , the fans speak ...........................................;o)
No John M8, I don't go away these days but in years past been to the likes of Manu & Spurs and also Carlisle & Wrexham and many in between all for the love of the Bluebirds. We may play in red but we will always be Bluebirds. By the way it's not the first time we've played in red or black or yellow or purple.
Kno that m8 but fans should have their say , i appreciate the millions and backing bu as they say , you can take the man out of Wales but???? Have a good w/end ......................;O) JH
It doesn't matter what colour you wear lads, you will always be Bluebirds, just like we will always be jacks. The colour of a shirt means nothing.
the thing that was most concerning was that originally the first word on the 6 metre long banner was "F*CK". this planned by the organisers to display in the centre of a city for the sight of passing families children and tourists. It was only after many people had pointed out that perhaps it wasn't the best word to use that they agreed, reluctantly , to change it. It makes you wonder about the mentality of the people organising this that they honestly thought the original was acceptable at any level? and how will the police react to c1000 drunken football supporters singing and shouting outside the city's largest tourist attraction/ What if the castle company sues for loss of revenue? None of this has been thought through. If it is a protest has it been registered with the police. If it isn't and it turns into one the police will clear it. They said if it rains the venue is the Gatekeeper. do you think they have warned that pub to expect a few hundred extra customers all at once. The whole idea stinks of idiocy and can only do harm to the good name of the club at worst or be a complete failure at best.
Who are they actually protesting to? A march to the stadium (no alcohol involved) when the board are there is a protest. A bimble around a few pubs with some banners is a glorified pub crawl which could get ugly if the less responsible have one too many.
Free speech is one thing - rabble rouser quite another. Difficult to draw the line, but the feelings of a minority are running high. Just hope it doesn't descend into anything detrimental to the club.
I'm dead against wabble wousers. On a different topic, did everyone agree with the retain list or is there a call to welease anyone else?
Wabble wousing is wong. My friend biggus dickus wouldn't stand for it. And if anyone thniggers thwike him woughly, thwike him to the gwound, thenturian.
I partly hope it does descend into something - treat it as football related violence and get the bujjers banned for three years. There are plenty of people on the waiting list for their season tickets.
Remote If you can bring yourself to go there, there is a good "knob" thread on the Jacks board. Or at least it was good yesterday, don't know about today.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hR7qkKAkdDg A few more than I thought, all singing "Let's all do the Malky" The Manager that was brought in by Vince and is part of modern football. You couldn't write that could you.
