There are times when I am convinced that Mr Coates is one of the (very) few Chairmen with an ounce of integrity, but...:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

I think he has done a fantastic job and has been very hard done by and to be replaced a manager who was sacked fro being bottom of La Liga in November seems very strange - IMO.

I agree that Coates seems to be far more ethical than most other Chairmen/Owners which has its pros and cons. In defence of him and TP, we probably wouldnt be here today if it wasnt for them both. The question is would either be able to work and be successful in another combo, I fear not.
 
The guy doesnt speak english either - how can you manage a prem team?
 
It's a big gamble, but then English managers are not very fashionable, off the top of my head there is only a couple in the prem, Harry and Big Sam, 1 sounds like a used car salesman the other looks like a bouncer.

I think this will be he same mistake that QPR made in getting shut of Neil Warnock for Mark Hughes. This new Argentinian manager will take them down!
 
New Southampton manager sounds a bit weird, apparently he trekked up a mountain to pray for divine inspiration when Espanyol were doing badly. Maybe he's taken the name "The Saints" too seriously!

Maybe he should have treffed down the training ground and done some new drills?
 
Just heard Nigel Adkins name isn't even in the programme for tonights match. Disgusting after back to back promotions, hope Everton put them to the sword tonight.
