Well your first mag to comment on this which im suprised at... But although you stated the obvious, you also stated the correct fact, (except the SB part) imo. If only it was that easy. We know the fanbase is there, its just getting them back. A win against Chelsea would be a start.
All we need is a half decent team playing attractive football on a consistant basis, and the part timers would return in their droves...
Making people move who have bought a season ticket for the upper stands would prove tricky. As for the away fans being moved I believe SNQ hinted at this earlier this year, my own opinion is that they are moved into the premier concorse
Im a beliver that everybody has a $$ amount(sorry again no pound sign) , they can afford to spend supporting there team. for instance my brother... $435 season ticket for him $200 for one of the boys ( each boy goes to alternate games) $ 150 for shirts ect total = $785 Now if the tickets were priced at $385 for him $125 boy 1 $125 boy 2 $150 shirts etc grand total= 785 plus the misc expenses of going to the match, pies ( he and the lads tuck um away).more supporters = more merchandise The club should think like the cigarette company's aren't suposed to think, get them addicted young. what about this? Income based season tickets?
Interesting one this, although I like the idea of a £200 season ticket it would still not fill the ground because people like me would buy one but not got to every game because of the 200 mile distance involved. I was really happy when they extended the stadium and I moved my season ticket seat from the South Stand (where the atmos and people around us were great) to the North stand extension. I found for me anyway the atmosphere dropped. Now I don't have a season ticket anymore I occasionally sit near my old north stand extension seat and its dead up there. I just hope we either start winning lots of games and the attendance goes up or the resession ends so we fill the ground. I would bring the season ticket price down and bring the ticket price on the day down to fill the ground. Make the seats near the front cheaper so the ground fills up front the front. Also STOP the silly KO times like 1pm the same day as the GNR. Stoke will be the lowest EPL attendance at the SOL ever.
