It's more of an annoyance than a bad sign that we've decided that going 1-0 down to either cheek of that footballing arse that is Manchester means we've had it, so we lay down and flatter their goal difference. However, I do wonder why we didn't stick Kaboul in as a makeshift DM to partner Modric/Kranjcar - we knew we'd need a bit of grit in midfield, and he's played this role for us and Pompey before, but instead we made a similar mistake to our game at OT by fielding a central midfield that can't break up or disrupt the opposition.
