It will be an interesting summer, we have a lot still on the books that might leave, we have some yet to join.

If everyone leaves, here is the squad, I have left Snodgrass in as I expect we won't sell him until January.

    No. Player
    1 GK Andy Lonergan
    2 DF Tom Lees
    3 DF Charlie Taylor
    4 MF Zac Thompson
    5 DF Jason Pearce
    6 DF Patrick Kisnorbo
    7 MF Robbie Rogers
    8 MF Robert Snodgrass*(club captain)
    9 FW Davide Somma
    10 FW Luciano Becchio
    11 MF Danny Pugh
    12 GK Alex Cairns
    13 DF Lewis Turner
    14 DF Sam Byram
    15 MF Simon Lenighan
    16 DF Monty Gimpe
    17 FW Billy Ions
    18 FW Dominic Poleon
    19 DF Nathen Turner

    May Leave:
    GK Paul Rachubka
    DF Paul Connolly
    DF Andy O'Brien
    FW Billy Paynter
    MF Ramón Núñez

    Contract Rebels:
    44 FW Ross McCormack
    15 MF Adam Clayton*
    28 DF Aidy White
    MF Michael Brown

    Injuries:
    26 DF Leigh Bromby

It could be the making of us, we always rise to a challenge and I am still oddly optimistic??

I am not questioning Warnock or his ability - I read Warnocks comments as a warning to Bates, "back me and help me get the 3-4 I need before I go on holiday to show you mean business". I fear that IF we do not secure those targets Warnock will walk through the lack of backing from Bates

Old Peacock - NW has already said Thompson is going out on loan, if he isn't good enough for first team action then the other youngsters aren't you can rule out 9 of those listed as featuring for us this season.

Would you like a douche to clean the sand out of your ears?

Blending the youth with experience is always a good start.
With limited journeymen coming in, it will give the younger players a chance to play.

Unless you want to see more players like Andy O'Brien or Michael Brown joining that is ???

there's a balance, Peacock. Leeds United has never attempted a balance because it's the balance that costs money. Rely on old crockpots and youngsters because they are cheap. There's getting the youth involved then there's relying on the youth. We're trying the latter.

If Thompson is going out on loan, and he is clearly the best of the youth, then i cant see how any yuouth player is going to be involved in lufcs plans next season
