In terms of amount of people who support them, stadium slightly bigger too. They are a big club stuck in a rut. I wouldn't like to say who's more successful?
Yeah right. Ok joke over. Their owner is an Italian crook who just saved them - probably temporarily - from bankruptcy. Yes, they have reasonable attendances, but their not in our league - literally!....
Okay you are the bigger team at present but I think you are underestimating the size of Leeds up that way. They are stuck with a **** owner but they are a 5-8th premier league size club.
I agree that they COULD be a big club. The support is there, etc. They ****ed up badly financially by over stretching in the early 2000's, and have never really recovered. As my original,comment alluded to, there's an opportunity there for somebody with the money.
I don't know what the Tyneside Derby is. Is it a horse race? Or have you confused it with the Tyne Wear derby?
