Tan will hang on to Ole for dear life to save face , and he will probably say if you dont like it , go elsewhere.
No he needs promotion before the parachute payments run out. If we are bottom 6 by the next international break i think he will be gone. I think he might even resign.
Really? Do you think so. For me, he's come on an awful lot. It may be a little unfair to single out John but he made some diabolical errors the other day.
Forgot about him - would not be at all surprised if he was brought in. It'd be the sort of idiotic thing OLS would do. Guerra and Bergstaller are due a start.
It had nothing to do with Marshall being Captain. I tend to agree with you, though; there's no 'Captain' material there.
1. Fabio was injured and had to go off. The loss of his attacking threat and Declan's poor positional play were a major contribution to our downfall although they were consistently attacking down our left before Fabio went off. However, Lafferty was a donkey and Jerome a very different prospect - as we found out to our cost. 2. Marshall as captain - an example of how this didn't work - Morrison injured, Marshall stands over him while he was having treatment instead of going to rally the troops in the centre of midfield. 3. For me Macheda had a great first half. His movement and creation of space between midfield and KWJ was excellent. BUT he is not match fit and was clearly knackered after 50 minutes. Unless KWJ was injured then there is no earthly reason why Macheda should have stayed on and KWJ went off. To bring on Maynard and expect him to do KWJ's role was an absolute non-starter. 4. Their first 2 goals were due to our midfield giving the ball away in key positions. Ralls for the first with Declan having bombed down the wing and no cover at left back. Gunnar for the second. Having seen the tv replay it looked like their 3rd was offside as the player who connected with the cross tapped onto Turner who was a yard further forward and in an offside position. I can't begin to explain the 4th. No excuses, beaten by a much better side second half. 5. I know many on here are big fans of Ralls, he scored a great goal and was a major part of our domination for the first 35/40 minutes. However, while he has got bigger in the last year he is still easily knocked off the ball, doesn't have a lot of pace and seems to get caught out of position when the opposition have possession. I continue to have reservations over him. 6. The reason they dominated from just before half time to the end is very simple. They pushed up from the back, condensed midfield and pressed upfront. We didn't have the time, skill or pace to overcome this. AND Ole doesn't have the tactical nous to change our game to deal with this. In all honesty, if he carries on like this I fear for our season.
Did not say it had nothing to do with Marshall being Captain, in fact he was shouting at the back 4 to press up the field. I'm just not a fan of goalkeepers as Captain.
Me too even though I am still trying to be optimistic and hoping he'll find the X1 which will fire but becoming more and more pessimistic after the team he has put out, his substitutions and tactics in the last 3 games have all failed.
Ole is not the manager for cardiff, he never has been and never will be. Mind you saying that Tan is not the right person either....He own 4 clubs now so how does he concentrate on putting all his effort into any one club.
