The media make him out to be an ungracious loser? No, he makes himself out to be an ungracious loser. Constantly complaining and moaning about the slightest thing, and the hypocrisy when he talks about unjust decisions is ludicrous. There is a huge difference between respecting someone and liking them, I don't think you can see what other people see when they look at him as you are so blinded by your undying loyalty. He moans... a lot, he piles pressure on referees and we all know he does it to get some sort of advantage, I have listened to opposition managers and players, unfortunately half of them happen to be ex-Man United players managing mid table clubs. The truth is the top 4 don't like him very much, Wenger case in point. Giggs' affair is completely relevant, how about the rumours he failed to turn up to training is that not relevant either? He is about to (likely) play in a champion's league final just a week after his affair came out in public and he was the centre of a media frenzy, what isn't relevant about that? Pure bitterness and Jealously? I will quite honestly say I am slightly bitter about the fact Man United got their 19th before we did, but Jealous? Not in a million years, and Man United fans pretending not to care about our 5 European trophies says it all about your class really.
Exactly, I don't know what you're not getting here?? Supports Man Utd + Supporting Liverpool = Plastic Fan
The media pick up on any occassion where Sir Alex has complained and people like you lap it up. They ignore whenever he is gracious in defeat and admits that the better side won. The only time he has blamed a referee for a defeat this season was after our match with Chelsea, on every other occassion he has admitted that the better team won and has congratulated the opposition. Opposition managers often talk about how gracious Sir Alex was following a defeat and how he has offered them great support, but because this is plastered all over the papers people like yourself ignore it. That journalist asked a completely pointless question, "How important was Giggs against Chelsea?". It's obvious he was trying to have a little pop and I have little sympathy with constant crap the media come out with. I care about Liverpool's 5 European Cups as I would love for Man Utd to overtake that record before Sir Alex retires. I would still want Liverpool to win a European final against foreign opposition though as I can see past the rivalry and my dislike for your club. I certainly wouldn't go out and buy the shirt of the other side just for that one game, that is utterly pathetic.
I can see past the rivarly and my dislike for your club and want you to win a final against European opposition for the good of football in this country. It's not that difficult to understand, jeez.
Well, while I don't exactly agree with what you're saying, I'll defend to the death your right to say it! I can see where you're coming from but you've got to agree that it sounds a bit weird to hear a Man Utd fan wanting Liverpool to win in the Champions League final? I watched that match in a pub and 2 of my Man Utd supporting mates came in with AC Milan jerseys on, as well as half the pub erupting with joy as AC went 3-0 up!
Don't get me wrong I wasn't watching with a Liverpool shirt on or waving a Liverpool flag, nor did I celebrate when you won but I wanted you to win and wasn't cheering on Milan. Buying the shirt of another club for one match is really sad.
MUFC Jimbo. ---------------------- Supports Man United+Supports Liverpool=Plastic fan. How do you feel about someone having a soft spot for a team in another league, like most people from the Republic of Ireland have a soft spot for Celtic,it comes with the territory.
What happens if the club you have a soft spot for gets promoted into your league? PNE has been my second club (both parents' home town club) since the 1990s when they were in the 4th division, and they were on the verge of the PL a few years ago. I wouldn't have ditched them if they got promoted or even if (yeah, right!) they were challenging Utd for honours.
swarbs thats bolox and you no it,the respect i had for you as a football fan is getting rather thin now.
How can Liverpool fans expect any shred of respect when they resort to fantasising and no doubt actually kicking people in the teeth with Steel toe caps? Classless fans. Worst in the country, and if United win tonight I will revel in the fact that you will all be dabbing your eyes in kleenex. Before dabbing your cock over the dwindling importance of your 5 trophies. We're coming to get you, you fearful pricks. xxx
at the end of the day you lost, no actually you got battered! Why don't you come back when you've won it 5 times you lowlife cock munching scumbag! The steels are being put on....., prick!
I am laughing at your estimation of your tam, IF, they never had te slightest chance once Barca could field a team. If, lmao, even worse drubbing than two years ago
Not so, London and the South East is a good place to find a few of your plastic friends. it is a bit strange how they have all vanished off the face of the earth though, has the Internet gone down in China? I'm sure that if the mancs had won and dogs starting lying down with cats (or whatever the bible calls it) they would have been all over this forum last night. As it is..... bliss ;-)
God help us if ever the day comes that Manc fans respect anything, let alone the team they are always trying to get out of the shadow of. You know Tesco have a mission statement, to have a shop within 10 minutes walk of every person in this country. I think the mancs have one to, to get out from under Liverpool's shadow. Alas it never came to pass last night did it? There is always next year, when you have an even weaker quad, as Glazer wrings out even more cash from his personal piggy bank ;-)
My god and English KPR, were you both separated at birth? Maybe you should come back when you are in the champions league again.
