I just hope you get to rub their noses in it.There is actually a song you can play to really rub it in..it was sang by Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Cabelle and its called ''Barcelona''.I've a copy and I'm going to annoy my dad with it on Sunday.

Sounds like Fergie is planning to retire not believing he can make the 5th before then thats why he is saying 4 times. Though if they win they are even on major titles overall. 19+4 18+5 and I think that would do him nicely to retire on at the end of next season, if United win he may retire this summer and why would he even mention retirement when the final is looming, you heard it here first:) He's off to stand on the board of Diagio

Why i don't want United to win

    1. The fans..United's fans are the most arrogant and ignorant in European football, they think all they have to do is turn up to win tomorrow
    2. The Ryan Giggs affair...John Terry did far less, and even less to cover it up. We have to believe that Saint Ryan of Salford was a victim, not the main culprit
    3. Gary Neville..i would slap that pathetic human being for fun..and then slap him twice as hard when i was angry.
    4. Ex-United players..Not one of them has given Barca any credit..One even said he thought Messi was overatted..Yes, because that's something Rooeny would never be.
    5. Ferguson..knighted for contributions to the labour party, and so jealous of Liverpool's European pedigree..He'll nevr have the class, dignity of humility of Bob Paisley.

So you're all going to be supporting Barcelona hoping they win because Man Utd were good enough to reach the Champions League final and your club wasn't. Sad.

    No we're supporting Barcelona because:

Oh... and we're Liverpool; Man Utd and Liverpool sort of have a rivalry although I wouldn't expect plastics to understand.

Funny, I hate your club but I wanted you to win against AC Milan for the good of English football. Shame many of you are too bitter.

    As for this point:

According to most rival fans we may as well not turn up as Barcelona are going to run rings arounds us.

Fun you should say that, as most Liverpool fans on not606 are from Ireland, talk about plastic

I'm not from Ireland, but why would it make a difference if someone is from Ireland? There are places in Ireland that are closer to Liverpool than places in Britain, so I don't see your point.

If you get to see your team play every season, no matter how many times then you can't be called a plastic - after all you've just spent a large portion of hard worked money to support your team.

Although due to the large commercial aspect of Man Utd, it's attracted a world wide following, and with a lot of the country "glory hunting," due to your recent success you have more plastic fans than real fans. Your stadium can only fit 75,000 people after all.

That could have something to do with us not having as many utter ****s in our club.

Ferguson is a horrible piece of work sometimes, as proved in the press conference where he wants to ban a journalist for asking a very relevant question, who was probably told by his superiors to say.

Neville was also a horrible person, and I am glad that he was finally retired from football but also deeply upset that he may become a pundit. It is completely unprofessional to slate off any other team or city, and will make you look bitter if they are more successful. At least our players respect your club and it's success.

Rooney - Everton gone Man United, his comments made about 19 > 18 showed what a bitter person he really is.

Giggs has already been mentioned, he can't just handle an affair like other people can he?

You may have wanted us to win for the good of English football, because back then English football was superior, but this final I truly think Barcelona play nicer football, have impressed more consistently and deserve to lift that trophy.

Just because the media make Sir Alex out to be an ungracious loser doesn't mean that he is. Maybe you should actually listen to what opposition managers and players in general say about Sir Alex and about how they respect him not only as a Manager but as a person.

It was obvious the journalist was getting at the whole Giggs' affair issue, what does that have to do with the team?

There will be many people in Spain spouting the same nonsense about Barcelona out of pure bitterness and jealousy. So sad.

Wow! I think that shows how plastic you really are <ok>

Of course I'll be backing Barca tonight as will most people, think it will be closer than a lot of people say though.

I'm plastic because despite my dislike for your club I wanted an English team to beat an Italian team? That makes sense.

I hear Barcelona tops and flags have sold out in Liverpool today, now that is pathetic!

The term ''Plastic'' refers to Man United fans moreso than to Liverpool fans. And to be honest Man United fans don't even know what the word ''plastic'' means.
Being plastic or not plastic has nothing to do with geography ie where supporters come from.Liverpool have a massive following in Ireland,as I know a few places that have official supporters clubs.I also know places that have ''Liverpool pubs''.I've been in a few of them.
The term ''plastic'' refers to ''fair weather supporters'',ones that support their club when its successful and then ditch them when they aren't.I know Man United fans that at one stage were Liverpool fans.I also know Man United fans that stuck with them through thick and thin and can remember when they were in division 2 in 1974.They know all about when Man United were useless.
Me personally.I can't really remember when Liverpool were the dominant force,I've embraced the success I've seen since 1992,I can remember the horrible Souness years, the lack of success during the Evans years, the false dawn under Houllier and the Rafa years. It kills me when Liverpool aren't successful.I hate it when they lose.So don't ever refer to me as a ''plastic''.I have pointed out what the term ''plastic'' means.
