Isn't that because the league is more competitive though? Celtic are losing Cup Semis to teams who we should be doing better against. Aberdeen are still the second best team in the country, and their resources are probably more in line with Hearts etc than they are with Celtics. All things considered, in my opinion, Aberdeen have done well under McInnes. I get your point but i keep saying it: managing Celtic comes with more spotlight, speculations, and criticism, than managing Aberdeen, Ross County, or Livingston. I bet if you lived in Aberdeen, you would get more Aberdeen articles, but for the mainstream media - Record, Sun etc - the bulk of their readership is in the West Coast, and what sells papers? Stories, positive or negative, about Celtic and Rangers. This press intensity comes with the territory of being the biggest club. No, the narrative being established was trying to give you all the facts as to why Lennon suffered (suffers) so much abuse - it's there, in writing. What part of what Spiers said is untrue? I'm not denying that Lennon's nationality and religion play a part in the hate that follows him about, but in the same regard his never back down attitude and in your face approach hardly help his position either. Those are facts FFS.
