Very good article, and it reminded me of what the comedian Richard Herring has done in the past, on International Woman's Day there is a massive influx of tweets 'what about International Men's Day', not sure if he still does it but one year he responded to all of those tweets advising of when International Men's Day is!!!

NHS to Offer Biological Men Cervical Cancer Smear to Avoid ‘Triggering Gender Dysphoria’
please log in to view this image

Biological women who legally define themselves as men will not be routinely scanned for breast and cervical cancer, even if they retain these organs and remain at risk, the National Health Service (NHS) has said.
However, at the same time, biological men who regard themselves as women are being invited for cervical smear tests – even though it is impossible for them to have a cervix – an official guidebook states.
The guidelines, which will put lives at risk and encourage a physically impossible test on non-existent organs, have been introduced to avoid “triggering gender dysphoria” in the transgendered, NHS material indicates.
All women aged 50 to 70 who are registered as a female with their GP are automatically invited to breast screening every three years, and the practice is thought to save more than a thousand lives a year.
“If you are a trans man [biological woman]… you won’t be routinely invited for breast screening. We recommend you consider having breast screening if you have not had chest reconstruction (top surgery) or still have breast tissue,” the document reads.

However, even those who have had a double mastectomy and their breasts removed can get breast cancer as some tissue remains. Biological men who have taken female hormones and developed breast tissue can also be at risk.
So-called ‘trans health adviser’ Aedan Wolton featured in a related NHS Choices video and blog post, where he claimed that smear tests could be uncomfortable for “trans masculine people” who are biological women as it could offend how they perceive themselves.
He also claimed that words and references to the biological organs of men and women “can trigger feelings of gender dysphoria” in the transgendered.
David Davies MP, who has campaigned against government plans to let people legally ‘self-identify’ their own gender, told the Mail on Sunday: “This NHS effort to be politically correct is putting the lives of women who claim to be men at risk.”
He claimed it was also “wasting the time of men who claim to be women by offering them tests for organs they do not have”.
Laura Perrins, a conservative women’s campaigner, told the paper: “We’ve now got to the point where state collusion with this transgender agenda is endangering the health of women.
“It’s a ludicrous use of NHS resources to invite men for a cervical smear test, while it’s immoral and dangerous not to invite women.”
Anne Mackie, director of UK National Screening, said: “Following engagement with the LGBT community we produced a guide to help trans people understand what screening is available in England.”
Bernard Reed, of the support group Gender Identity Research and Education Society, praised Public Health England, saying that its booklet “provides valuable guidance”.

Seems odd that ‘she’ would want to participate in a sport whose main aim is to prevent the opposition wresting your balls off you.

Transgender murderer sparks inmate outrage in women's jail after being crowned prison's 'Miss Fitness'

Alex Stewart – previously Alan Baker - beat other female contestants to win the title at Greenock jail.

Alan is now known as Alex Stewart
A transgender murderer caused outrage among female cons when she lifted a jail’s prestigious “Miss Fitness” trophy.

Alex Stewart – previously Alan Baker – beat other contestants by “a country mile” in the multi-discipline fitness tournament at
      Greenock Jail
As Baker, Stewart murdered dad-of-two John Weir, 36, after inviting him to his home.

The two men had met just hours earlier on a gay dating site. He stabbed John at least 16 times.

Stewart has not had gender reassignment surgery but is living life as a woman in the female section of the jail.

Alan is now known as Alex Stewart
The 29-year-old, who has repeatedly complained about her treatment behind bars, triumphed in disciplines including rowing, weights, sit-ups and press-ups.

A source said: “The rest of them shouldn’t have bothered even entering.
“It was surreal. Everybody knew it wasn’t very fair, but nobody was allowed to say it.

“The women inmates have had to accept that Stewart is being allowed to live as a woman, despite not having had surgery.

“That means she is in the showers at the same time as other inmates, which some have found quite awkard.

“She has the right to determine her own gender.

“That is fine because the vast majority of the women believe in inclusiveness and equality.

“She trained hard and won the event by some distance. A country mile.

Alan Baker was sentenced in 2003

“Everybody knew she was training hard for the event. She did not enter last year and maybe this is a sign of her new confidence.
“She’s actually a nice girl. A bit of a drama queen, but nice.

“But other girls felt ashamed and cheated. They felt that they had no chance right from the start.

“But that didn’t bother Stewart. She just accepted the title and the trophy and seemed very pleased with herself.

“She had trained for a few weeks and as far as she is concerned it all came good.

“None of the prison staff cracked a light that they thought anything was wrong with the competition.

”It didn’t help that the trophy this year was a lot bigger than usual.

“The other contestants just thought they never had a chance, there was a bit of outrage.”

The tournament, held in December, saw about 10 inmates enter. They had to do one minute on several different apparatus to decide who is the fittest.

Inmates at the jail have been left furious by her win

The source added: “On rowing alone Stewart blew everyone else away. She absolutely smashed it. She did far more strokes in a minute than anyone else.”
As well as the trophy – said to be a foot high – Stewart was rewarded with a “goodie bag” which included chocolate, crisps, snacks, coffee and tea, juice, soap and toiletries.

The source added: “That kind of stuff in jail is real currency.

“You can use it to exchange for anything you want.

“The trophy is inscribed ‘HMP Greenock Miss Fitness 2017’.”

Stewart is said to be learning about hairdressing and how to apply make-up in the prison’s beauty salon.

As Alan Baker, he invited John into his home in Bonhill, near Dumbarton, in January 2013 before killing him.

He claimed to have acted in self defence after his victim was stabbed to death but was convicted of murder and attempting to cover up his crime at the High Court in Dumbarton.

Sentencing Baker at the High Court in Glasgow months later, judge Lord Boyd told Baker he was guilty of a “wicked and brutal” attack. He sentenced him to 19 years.

John Weir was stabbed at least 16 times

The court heard how John went to Baker’s home after they swapped details on the dating website.

In his evidence, Baker – who described himself as “predominately gay” – said John seemed “a nice gentleman” and that there was
    “no animosity”.

The trial heard claims he later pushed John away when the victim allegedly tried to get intimate.

Baker said a fight broke out after he was punched on the chest.

He said when he eventually “came round”, he realised there was a body on the floor and that there was a blade in the bathroom.

Baker then put his victim’s clothes, boots and mobile phone in a bag before dumping them near his flat.

He also tried to clean his blood soaked property before police arrived. Officers found a wheelie bin in the living room.

Baker had said: “I don’t really have a recollection of bringing in the wheelie bin. The only assumption I can make is that I brought it in to dispose of the body in a panic.”

The jury rejected claims that he had been acting in self defence.

The murderer previously wrote in prison magazine Inside Time, saying: “To transition in society is hard enough but to do it in prison is even harder.”

A Scottish Prison Service spokeswoman said: “We do not comment on individual inmates.”
