It'll also be a while until the tourist rate is $1.21 to £1. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Bollocks, if I was going it would be check in hotel, hit the bar. Watch both matches with cool lager in hand, back to bar. Activities, get to fook! The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I usually get the wife to collect the luggage from the carousel while I nip outside(used to be for the smoking of 5 cigarettes but has now switched to the continuous puffing of an elf bar) and when we get to our destination,I allow her to do the checking-in(I tend to think it gives her a sense of importance, other's would call it misogyny but that would be splitting hairs).... After she's unpacked she meets me in the bar.......With her purse
Oh, well then. Much sunnier over there? Yeah, cos it's still not significantly closer to the 145 - 165 it's historically traded at.
That'll be an interesting aside from saudi vs Korea or whatever in the 16's if they stream the games. But that's pretty cool if the fans get to go.
Why shouldn't you? Not 5 year olds obvs but 12/13 with fathers who can control em? Get rid of the coked up fake stone islanders and why the **** not? Get it safe standing - along with the middle sections of the east.
Tbf, that looks like a really good itenary. I expected it to have lots of daft activities, but it doesn't, and it gives plenty of free time. Quite jealous tbh. Whoever is going, enjoy (I'm sure you will).
Have you actually got any sound evidence of these 'fake stone islanders' taking cocaine?,or is it just a sweeping generalisation/slur to further enhance your somewhat tainted and biased view of the type of supporter that gathers in the North Stand these days? Is there even the slightest possibility that some of them like to get tanked up on alcohol in the City Centre pre-match and get a bit carried away when they get a sniff of the opposition support, that's the impression I get? I'm not condoning foolish or dangerous behaviour in our Stadium or anyone elses for that matter but you do seem to be stretching/embellishing things to suit your agenda...
I well remember those trying to curb the enthusiasm of the youth at football in the late 60's and early 70's on the back of the fear of football hooliganism, and the draconian measures brought in. City crowds at the start of the 70's topped 20,000 regularly, four years later we were down to 5,000. Be careful what you wish for.
Right from the start the police at City games tried to curb any exuberance by City fans whilst leaving away fans to it, as anyone who went to away games in those days, and there weren’t many, could testify. No coppers stood in middle of their Kop Ends telling people not to jump up and down and placing coppers where they could throw people out for brushing them when there was a crowd surge.Remember that pompous little twat with his swagger stick who wanted it brought in that you could only stand on alternative terraces in Bunkers so the police could move easily about?
To be fair to Acun, the moving of sections to these areas was designed to create an atmosphere/a buzz?.A bit of banter has always been part of Football but if things are being thrown and occasional charges at each other are starting to cause serious concern to some(most of us see it as handbags at best),I suspect there'll be moves again for next season? This really is a bit of a mountain out of a molehill but if the Club have concerns,it's so easily sorted and if the young ones aren't getting their kicks out of mouthing off at opposition fans and are moved away, that will probably see them cancelling their memberships and looking for an alternative pastime on a Saturday afternoon or concentrating on away games. This really isn't a hard fix but for some reason one or two on here see it as a massive move back to the late 60's/early 70's which is utter nonsense!!!
According to this they leave Humberside at 0910, arrive Antalya at 1610. Must be going in a Sopwith Camel with a trailer or summat!
