Yes I know someone who went, however, you would think that with a twitter account, and your a Hull City fan, you would think they would like the odd post that appears, but nothing, almost like she became a fan straight after selection for the trip
Does anyone actually give a sh1t About who got chosen, who went, who didn't, ffs, it was a good gesture by a good owner, some were lucky enough to go on the trip, some didn't, gtf over it. And stop trying to find conspiracy theories were there aren't any. Glad those that went enjoyed it, and glad the lady won the plane, its all good for the club, and improves our profile as a family club which is trying to be inclusive. Long may it continue, or would ya rather go back to the previous tenure and die when we want ?

It would make the allocation of double rooms somewhat less problematic than asking, "do you mind awfully sharing with...."
One poor lady who was chosen, was taken ill in Turkey and flown home early at the clubs expense has since, sadly, passed away.
I knew something about a medical emergency, and the club would have to insure its guests as part of an 'all expenses" deal. Its sad she's passed away though.
At a Q& A on the trip it was stated that a few were hand picked....from the pub!....one unreasonable issue was the competition run by the hotel for the a free holiday... competition was to post reviews on Facebook...won by someone with a media degree who write a review of dissertation proportions.
Fair enough to my mind. Thankfully we've moved from owners who knew / did **** all in terms of raising our profile to an owner who is near to the opposite end of the scale.
