I know I’m banging on about it, but this popped up on my twitter this morning, the person winning the plane, and indeed the trip to Turkey, apart from a few on the plane and in Turkey, has not tweeted once in her timeline about Hull City, yet another two random picked supporters eh?
Surely that just proves that they randomly selected members, rather than selecting the ones that tweet about City all the time, which was your claim.
If they never tweet about City all the time they must have been deliberately picked, and if they do tweet about City all the time then they must have been deliberately picked. Who gives a **** anyway? Those sorts of stage managed trips are always hell. Like a school excursion.
The lad who stopped to talk to Gav in Ebeneezers last week was a genuine fan who went. Stuck with City home and away through all the crap years of 4,000 crowds when so many had other priorities.
Tbf, I expected it to by a :staged managed' trip but from what I saw and heard it really wasn't. It looked class.
You got told where to go at certain times, that's the definition of stage managed. Yeah they got to watch the players train but beyond that it looked awful. I love to do my own thing on a holiday, not stick with a huge mob.
I think it's obvious ( and known maybe ) that some parts and some of the people there where handpicked and not random. But on the whole it was a great PR exercise that did exactly what was intended....raise the profile of the the club and acun

Who would have thought indeed. I don't know what you had in mind for 'stage managed' if that doesn't fit the bill. If that's your thing, then great go for it. Just saying why get wound up about not being picked?
Perhaps the winner of the plane should be located,hunted down by a mob with pitch forks and burning torches and ran out of the area.
I'm the same in that I'd normally like to do my own thing and not be scheduled, but I think talking down the value of this trip because it was scheduled is unfair on Acun/City. The people that went absolutely loved it, they were treated extremely well and for many it will have been truly a once in a lifetime thing.
As Howden Tiger has said I think it is obvious it was a mixture of hand picked and drawn out of a hat. Its clear certain people were selected based on the arse licking they do but the majority appear to have been selected at random as your picture shows. Maybe this lady is a new member drawn in because of her kids? I have 3 lads in my team who's parents started taking them to City this year because of the free places for kids. She is Lithuainian looking at her twitter so it is unlikely she was raised in Silver Cod with some of the lads we will both know but for me I dont care who went and who didnt now, it has gone and as long as some decent people got on then all good. I would not have gone for the same reason I will never accept the free travel, I prefer to do my own thing and select who I am knocking around with, but fair play to those who won and went.
