Sorry but I have to disagree, the birth of your child especially the 1st is a lot more important than any game.

 

He did this a lot last season with 50/50 <cough> injuries, I wouldn't discount mind games either. Having said that, Ade was spotted with a heavily strapped thigh when the camera was on him, when he sat down after being subbed.

 

Well if you were a footballer's wife you probably wouldn't be too keen on getting a nanny would you, and not because you couldn't afford it...

 

VdV also has a hammy issue, so thats him and Ade possibly out, as has been said, Sandro was pulled out of the Brazil squad so thats another possible problem

 

If it was that bad they wouldn't have let him out of the physio room to sit down, let alone run up and wum Wenger with Rafa afterwards. You're right though, 'Arry wants to create the impression that they won't play without actually saying it. I'd be surprised if neither started.

 

My guess is that Adebayor and VDV will both start, I certainly expect one of them will.

 

I'm not sure I mind one or maybe even both being out. After four straight wins including one over Arsenal a let-down is natural, and having to adjust to a different lineup may be a good attitude adjuster. I'd certainly play Kranjcar if VDV is out. But who would you play if Ade is out? Do you have to play Defoe as lone striker, when that's not really a good role for him?

Did anyone notice that Rafa actually played the whole game for Holland- can't be that badly injured surely- like everyone else is saying mind games from Harry.

 

Ade is apparently 'making progress and pushing hard to make the game', according to someone who read his twitter.

AS I said yesterday, my guess is that both Ade and VDV will start.

Apparently Niko, Corluka and Lennon are definitely out while Sandro's a doubt, but I haven't seen any official news yet, so it's all web guesswork AFAIK.
