As a Histon fan, it's been painful to see them get destroyed every week. Times are so desperate that I would call their 0-0 result today a success, because at least it's another point. I remember when they beat Leeds United, got loads of TV coverage, and told the fans that "the club will be financially stable for at least 3 years". Steve Fallon was doing a great job as manager. Then we got a new chairman who sacked Fallon. John Beck left the club, and any decent players we had moved to other teams. Last season, Histon were lucky to remain in the Blue Square Premier. Can they bounce back this season?
It was going to be tough enough to stay up without the points deduction. So I'm afraid the Stutes are doomed.
