His mates have just got our Andrew with a class wind up. The minibus and bike trailer are booked for lunch time today to transport them to Whitehaven, and they had all said they thought it was tomorrow and they were at work today. He was exasperated until one of them spilled the beans and admitted it was a wind up.

Just to give a heads up . Nine year ago was told I had three years at most to live. After five years was told I was only one of seven who had lasted this long . I had malignant melanoma on my lungs. I have now been given the all clear from cancer . My wife can’t get me down off the ceiling . And then we win promotion hope this helps
In case you think is a wind up I was on vemurafanib it’s for skin cancer that has moved onto lungs

****in hell,mate. Absolutely fantastic that.

No more pics as yet, but know they had a today weather wise and somehow managed to get lost adding an extra six miles on their first day from Whitehaven to Penrith

Well the charity bike riders are on their final leg. It has been eventful with one lad needing replacement peddles after the first few miles. Another coming off and damaging his ribs just 20 miles in. And then today our Andrews bike seized up just outside of Consett. Me and Sue have had to drop a spare bike off for him to finish the journey. They are back on the road now and due back to Roker around half three to four.
I will have to sort out some pics when they get back.
Thanks again to everyone who has supported this. ❤️

Brilliant stuff, very well done to them all.

Hoping they all raised a fantastic amount of money for good causes
