Odd one that, he gave us 3 hrs notice to speak with Villa ended up signing for them got better wages then decides to sue for 2000'000 for breach of contract... Cheeky ****, i hope he gets them relegated now......
Just for information, and a bit of accuracy, Bradley J has been terrific for us this season, Howson has been fine, but Hughton has played him in a deeper, more restricted role, so he's been rather shackled, and Snoddy, who was excellent early on, has been carrying an ankle injury (which forced him to withdraw from the Scotland squad). So our "Leeds" midfield is doing fine, and once the side as a whole have adjusted to Hughton's way, we will start to get the results our play has deserved. Truth is, we should have at least 8 points, not 3, and the reason we haven't is nothing to do with our midfield, it's because our strikers (Jackson, Holt and Morison) haven't been clinical enough. Holt has now scored two in two, and Morison opened his account against Chelsea. Glad to see you guys have reasons to be cheerful at the moment, but don't bank on swapping places with us just yet!
I have seen a couple Norwich games this season (admittedly one was Liverpool) and Snoddy has looked decent but Howson hardly touched the ball in both. Think you desperately need to improve upon Johnson if you want to stay in that league, he wouldn't get into our current team and on paper we are a mid-table championship side. You'll get the "niggling injury" thing from snoddy every 5 games or so. Always carrying an injury but always seemed to play through it, don't know whether thats his excuse for having poor games or whether he genuinely gets injured all the time but either way its annoying
We are currently 19th and have let in 17 goals in 7 games, the word excellent can not really be attributed to any of our players thus far.... I truly believe we will improve but apart from Tottenham away I have been rather disappointed with ALL of our other matches ...... We are receiving somewhat of a reality check this year with Houghton ......
