    Godfather Films
    Pulp Fiction
    Raging Bull
    Raiders of the Lost Ark
    Jaws
    Silence of the Lambs
    Kingpin
    Goodfellas
    Donnie Darko
    Friday
    Blade Runner
    Clerks
    Eraserhead
    The Big Lebowski

Really though just work your way through 80's classics, that was the golden era on the big screen for me.

Anyone got a liking for film noir? There are some classics out there from a great genre.

Donnie Darko was just plain weird! I'll second Clerks tho...cracking film. 2nd one is quite good as well.

    The Accountant (Ben Affleck)
    Wind River
    The Mule
    The Score
An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn (if you like Big Lebowski you'll probably like this).

I could watch those top 4 over and over again (and have done a few times), they are top notch.

I just watched Falling Down again the other day. I ****ing love that film, the older I get the more I understand it now. I think most of us can relate to it at some point in our lives.

Hell yeah! Most days I get that falling down feeling, where you just want to get a baseball bat and do over some scam caller who's been pestering me all morning! <laugh>

I am assuming you have seen all the usual ones so my nomination would be Whisky Tango Foxtrot. Good and amusing film about a War Correspondent in Afghanistan.

Perhaps less famous ones you may not have seen:

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (a good heist movie with a twist)
Alice Doesn't Live Here Any More (bit of an unheralded Scorsese movie)
Cube (definitely not for everyone but I quite liked it)
Stir of Echoes (Kevin Bacon - again probably not for everyone)
    Signs and Wonders
    Zodiac
Of Mice and Men (fantastic adaptation of Steinbecks book with John Malkovic and Gary Sinise)
Resurrected (I think ACS would like this one)

Another few from the more well known list:
    A Good Year
    Sideways
    Blood Diamond

Those three get regular watches in our household

    Kick Ass
    Point Break (original)
    RoboCop (original)

Damn, my list got more serious as it went along! <laugh>

I'm fairly certain I just left her and went out to the pub when it finished!
BJ would have at least been the entry fee back! <laugh>
