Genuine Question.. Did he look any good before he got injured didn't score many but what was his play like??
He looked a little lightweight, but his movement and some of his touches were superb. Suprisingly good in the air too. He struggled for lack of service more than anything, but I think there are still questions about his strength, ability to hold on to the ball high up the pitch and his creative contribution beyond just finishing.
Don't forget that Marcus Evans has loads of money and they are actually loaded. Well that's what Guru says anyway. So loaded they can't afford to pay their suppliers What a way to run a business, wouldn't get away with it in the real business world. Companies would just stop dealing with you and put your account on stop. Then it would be pro-forma (payment upfront) until trust is restored. But hey! ME has loads of money!
Mick McCarthy is doing a fantastic job in turning us around and long may he continue to do so! Top 10 finish this year and a real crack at promotion next year.
In all honesty we need more players and I don't think we are ready this season. Another season will neither be here nor there so long as we keep on improving and with Mick at the helm we will be even stronger next season.
I don't think that's being disputed, squire. The table doesn't tell porkies Maybe even this year, if you've got a bit of spare cash to invest in Jan....arrgh, hold on, what was this thread about again?
I would normally agree with you but considering the utter mess that Mick had to sort out it is superb how quickly he has turned us around. Another season and we will be in a far better position. I am more than happy with the progress we are making.
This is a non-story and blown out of all proportion by the Norwich based scummy press but I guess you knew that already!
Never a truer word spoken, norfolk owned gutter press trying to stir the ****. On the promotion side of things, I agree with JWM on having a good crack next year at promotion, look on the brightside we will get 6 points from Norwich in turmoil when all their 'superstars' have ****ed off because they aren't premier league.
