Yep, I agree with all of Antti's comments. It's a very fair and balanced article.
For me, the substitutions were key. After an hour, it was obvious that we had lost our way but JFH was way, way too slow to react and got it wrong. Henry had gone AWOL and, despite some nice touches, Luongo was a peripheral figure. Polter had faded, doubtless knackered after an energetic and productive first half.
I would have brought on Faurlin and Washington after 65 minutes. We were crying out for Faurlin's control and creativity in the middle. He can do the defensive bit and has a fine range of passing. To bring on Washington, it would have been a close call but I would have taken off the tiring Polter rather than Hoilett because the latter was still being effective.
Chery was the wrong choice. I think he is too much like Fer, albeit more energetic, and I would rarely have the pair of them on the field at the same time.
