Hi all,

New poster but long time reader since bbc 606!!

Thought Anton was great tonight apart from the pull-back on Amiobi??

If he continues to play like that would singing "Sir Anton Ferdinand" quite fit :)

BTW thought we were fantastic tonight

Bothroyd played very well sorry he is very strong and when that first goal comes he will enjoy hero status
Our midfield are looking a dangerous match for anyone in this league and that's the key we have skill to burn and grit to match and goals just ready to pop we should smash a few teams up this year in the middle of the park
It was simple get the ball back at all costs and keep it we did that last night we did everything but score hence the fickle comments about Bothroyd which are in the big picture not at all correct
 
i thought bothroyd had a good game won most headers look comfortable on the ball .but as warnock said, we have not had balls crossing with quality, so i believe when the first goes in many will follow, i liked him when he was at cardiff, but i love him now
 
I thought he played well, would you say he was running the back four ? (looked like it) I thought the 4 did well especially as it was the first time they played together, in the first half they gave away a couple of cheap balls while playing out of defense but generally the centers looked solid both full backs look good going forward as especially Traore (hope he is ok).
 
Comfortable debut for our defenders as we were so dominant. The true test lies ahead but I am a lot more confident now. Serious improvement in our quality defensively.

Welcome to the board, Anton did well, got concerns about Gabbidon though.
 
Yeah some of Gabbidons clearances and passing nearly got us into trouble.....still was a great performance and a couple more signings in January and we have a VERY strong squad.
 
Gabbidon generally plays well, but has one or two aberrations per game. His team mates covered for him yesterday but it will get expensive
 
Solid performance at the back but we face much sterner tests. Sure we will go for another CB in January and use Gabbi as cover.
