I do follow Stockport as my local team and they've made what looks like 3-4 very decent signings. They may well be a surprise package for top 3.
Burnley could be a dark horse to be promoted looking at a promotion 4 fold of Burnley Sheff Wed Bradford Wrexham 589.33/1 on bet 365
Haven’t had one of my own knocked up yet but just seen a RAB for Norwich and Watford to be promoted, Burnley and Reading bottom half and Rotherham relegated. 50/1. I’ll have a tenner on that.
First bet of the season, 10 fold waiting on 2 teams. Had home obviously.. was meant to be 4 minutes of injury time
There's a horse going tomorrow which I've backed EW at 10/1. In the mares bumper, I like the look of QUEEN MANDANA. It is a Black Sam Bellamy filly owned by the aptly named Sunderland Holding Inc (No link unfortunately) and it is out of Queen Soraya, who is also the Mother of the very talented Snow Leopardess. Charlie Longsdon has had good success for these owners and tomorrow this 4 year old makes her debut. The record for 4 year olds running on turf is, 7 of their horses running in 20 races and winning 6 of them and placing in 2. 4 out of the 7 horses have won. Currently running at a +8.38 profit. It's a top race mind. The favourite is a Henderson horse out of Kayf Tara and they always excel in bumpers. At least 5 or 6 horses will come out of this race and go on to win decent races in the future. I've only had a few quid on it just for interest.
Feel free to merge this.... I just wanted to notify some new odds on Sunderlands promotion chances etc William Hill - Sunderland top 6 - 5/1 Sunderland Promotion (including through the play offs) - 18/1 Like it or not, we have more than a decent chance to achieve either. I say, "Like it or not" because part of me thinks it's too soon to go up this season. Yes of course I'll be delighted, but I want to see another season watching theses young'ns thrive for another year. If we do go up, we'll lose some big loanees etc, and there might be too much disruption with new personel etc. Maybe I'm beeing a bit protective, I'm not sure... Nevertheless, I do think that we now have a great chance of top 6. Therefore I have placed the following bets this morning. Sunderland top 6 - £100 x 5/1 = £600 Promotion - £20 x 18/1 = £380
I posted this on 27th Jan...Great odds at the time, and cashed out today - £600. This has paid for my Anti- Post Season prediction bets in the close season which totalled an outlay of £590.
