I think he scored 3, then missed the pen, then scored again...but I get your point!! That's his last 2 pens he's put against the bar.
To be fair, he took them with aplomb. Cool head, nice control. Nothing spectacular, but you want your forward to put away the good chances, not just the speculative (are you listening Defoe/Adebayor? )
If anyone knows who is staying and who is going, then I suggest they contact Jose, as I am sure he doesn't know himself. We will just have to wait and see what develops, frustrating though that is. Mata and Luiz going ??????? Sounds loony to me.
Still think with Torres it's more about confidence than ability. When he's on it, he is still a bloody fantastic player.
he was at Liverpool, he hasn't ever been fantastic for Spain or Chelsea since a year before leaving Liverpool. There was absolutely no pressure on him in that game so you would expect him to put it away. The only pressure was from expecting him to score a peno and he didn't. He still has ability but his peak was those two great years with us and he'll never be that good again imo.
I wasn't having a go about Torres, I just meant he scored 4 goals in one game, which was great, but missed a penalty which was a shame. My point was more about his see saw goal scoring. But I think Sisu got it right when he said its all about pressure during the game, and penalty, but it was good to see him getting goals that a while back he would have fluffed up, easy game or not.
