IF massive IF City were to sell / offload Paul McShane then i could well see Bruce going in for Gerrard especially as he is on a Free. Furthermore, IF Bruce does intend to go with just 3 centre backs then Gerrard - Faye - Chester would look very impressive. In saying that i am not averse to Cooper - Faye - Chester either.

You should tell Cardiff's management he's available on a free.

Malicious rumours? I think you'll find what I've posted are facts and from those facts I've then suggested an opinion.

For what it's worth Gerrard was a very good player for us but in the past 3 seasons he's fallen out with 2 managers and while he's been linked to us (via our own fans) there has been no evidence that we've tried to re-sign him. That's a bit odd considering he won our player of the year award and I was just suggesting by looking at the facts a possible reason for this.

Not just any fan eskimo Tickler got it straight from the foyer, not a car park, that AG wants/is coming back. Thats cast iron in my book.

To be honest I wouldn't be to fussed about having him back. Firstly I believe Hobbs and Chester are a going to be one of the best CB pairings in this division. Secondly He would be largely 'second string' which would be no good to either city or AG. I too follow him on twitter and he always seems to be having a bust up with fans, Which can't be a good thing for someone in his position. (It's just a sure fire way to make enemies).
I think with Faye nearing the end of his career he would be happier to sit most games out, Coming on here and there when the defence needs bulking up a bit.
That said from what I saw of Cooper and Bradley last season I wouldn't have an issue in chucking either of them into the fold.
