    Thank you.
The fact you can only name one player and Pearson's been here just over a year proves my point. Thanks.

***an rejoined in the march of the promotion year, and contributed very little to it on the pitch if memory serves, theres a reason nobody apart from bradford appeared to be interested....exactly what reason would people put him in the team for? his finishing? his passing?, his touch? his crossing?..or his ability to give needless free kicks away in the corner?...

...only cos your 'master' - i.e. Duffen - and PB, had bequeathed us their odd squad......odd and expensive.

Still, it won't matter to you - out there, grinding that old axe of yours.

    Poor old ****er....

We're talking about ***an. Not Barmby!

If ***an's just signed for Bradford you'd imagine he wasn't that expensive.

You're making wrong comparisons here.. especially McKenna as ***an can't play holding midfielder and never has.. ***an is a winger/inside forward and the players you have listed are midfielders and a striker who's in a different mould..

Before his injuries and a few seasons ago ***an played as a forward but I doubt he'd be picked there now..

There is a case for him playing on the RW as Stewart is still out but only as cover.

I don't see enough arguments for keeping him, yes he did some good things whilst with us but it's time for him to move on and even though L2 is a tad low, if he's still got it he'll do the job at Bradford then.

    Good luck to him..

    He put's in a good shift!:emoticon-0105-wink:

He is not the most loved but he certainly would make an impact in this team, who, I agree, have been overhyped by quite a few.

Interesting comments regarding ***an, he did work very hard but there was a lack of quality and technique there. He's one these players who I thought would be great when we got him but to be honest was a bit of a disappointment. I understand where DJ is coming from but instead of a conman I'd say he punched above his weight in footballing terms, limited player but makes the most of what he has.

He could do all in moderation, he's not as **** as you're making him out to be, nor his he the greatest. It sounds clichéd but his effort was his best attribute. Koren can do everything on that list better than ***an, but what's the point when he puts no effort in? I'd choose ***an on the left every time over Koren.

Well said DJ, the had was fast, worked hard and got under players skin, however no final ball and couldnt score

tigersinhull - You cannot be serious saying he is better then Koren, McKenna, Harper or Adebola! Firstly he is a completely different player then McKenna and Harper, its like comparing Bradey or Stewart to Ashbee. We tried ***an as a "lone striker" - result, useless. The player you could compare him to is Koren, however Koren scores goals, creates goals and has vision, the only part ***an outshines him on is pace and work rate.

The whole "he was Brownies player so Pearson doesnt like him" is rubbish, he was on an over inflatted salary and was expecting something similar again (think he was on £18k pw). In Koren, Bradey and Stewart we have better players and most likely paying less then £18k pw for all three of them.

***an is a decent player for this level and way better then Bradford

depends what you think wins you more matches, i agree you need effort, ideally youd like effort and ability..but if i had to choose just one, id say ability will get you further..

He's definetly better than League 2, but it's hardly a crying shame that he left us. Do't get me wrong, i wish him luck and will always be grateful to him for that goal at Bolton in 2008/09, but he wasn't quite good enough for me with the final ball and his career seemed to dip after that move to Derby. If you look at what we have in Brady and Stewart you can see the difference in quality. If only Koren had ***an's work rate and ***an had Koren's skill to complement the other quality!
Mclean, I don't see why Pearson getting rid of the old PL players is an issue? We'd got rid of the better players before/as he was arriving, then you have the likes of Zayatte, Gardner, Folan, Halmosi, Ghilas all of whom were average players on too high wages who we are better off without. It's a shame Ash went and Duke also but things move on and most managers like to bring in their own players anyway, NP is no exception (Sven at Leicester for example). Dawson is still in the frame as are Garcia, Macca and even Oli when they come back from injury so some of the old guard remain. We have a better team than we did this time last year imo.

Cairney, Barmby, Garcia, Macca, Dawson, Oli and if you want to count loan players Kilbane, Cullen, Atkinson, Devitt and Cooper (with the exception of Kilbane, youth who need more game time).

Garcia's in limbo, Macca and Oli aren't playing and Barmby's only still around because he's Nige's mate. I'll give you Cairney though, two.

Players on loan aren't here so you can't count them.

I think/hope Garc stays a bit longer he earnt a contract with his performaces last season. Macca and Oli are injured which i guess poses a problem to them playing! We'll see when they're fit i guess. Harsh on Barmbs, but i know your opinion on him so won't discuss that further. I think Cullen, Cooper and Devitt have a future here, they're here in a way but they're not.

Now you're criticising NP for not playing injured players and assuming that Garcia is finished, even though we're paying him out of contract and handling his rehabilitation.

You really are a tool sometimes.
