Swansea are ready to snap up Falkirk's brilliant youngster Stephen Kingsley in a surprise raid for next season.
The Swans have teed up the deal for the 19-year-old left back and now want to push it through in the next fortnight.
Kingsley has already been to Swansea for talks and is very keen to follow former team-mate Jay Fulton to the club.
Midfielder Fulton made his debut for the Swans in the final game of the season against Sunderland and Scotland youth cap Kingsley will be offered the same fast-track route from the Bairns to the Premier League.
Swansea are willing to splash out on Kingsley, with an initial down payment of around £300,000 but rising with appearances.

Stephen Kingsley: "I need to keep my head down and not take any notice."
STEPHEN KINGSLEY insists he wonât let fresh speculation linking him with a move to Swansea get in the way of him helping Falkirk stay top of the league.
The 19-year-old full-back was last night the subject of a fresh approach from the English Premier League club who offered a?substantial six-figure sum for him and team-mate Jay Fulton.
Bairns general manager David White has vowed that the ?Championship leaders will only sell the gifted youngsters for the right price. And Kingsley â who has also caught the eye of Celtic and Wolves ahead of tomorrow nightâs signing deadline â is adamant his main focus is on beating Morton on Saturday.
He said: âItâs great to hear people talking about me and clubs such as Celtic and Swansea. I was also down at Wolves recently just to see what it was like and it was a great experience.
âBut I need to keep my head down and not take any notice.
âI need to focus on Saturday and facing Morton. What happens will happen and if anything emerges then itâs down to Falkirk to discuss the matter.â
Kingsley is contracted to the club until the summer of 2015 and sources at the Falkirk Stadium have suggested the two clubs have yet to settle on a suitable fee for the defenderâs move. But Fulton is out of contract in the summer and, with the player unlikely to renew his deal at Falkirk, talks are thought to be at an advanced stage to take the midfielder to the Liberty Stadium this month.
General manager White said: âThere has been quite ?significant interest in our young players in recent weeks and bids were always expected.
âBut we are in no rush to sell and fans can be assured that only when our valuations are met will players be allowed to move.â
