Didn't Southampton bid £2m?

Anyway, I'm reading that Nugent has picked up an injury, this surely can't help our chances of getting him in on a loan deal...

Everything depends on how fast we can bring in Maynard and Yakubu.

Until then I don't think anyone will leave.

That won't make any difference, Sven simply doesn't want him and has told him he can leave. We will be bringing in at least one striker, Waggy will definitely leave, loan or otherwise.
 
Waggy will go, Nugents injury doesnt change anything. Howard and Waghorn will leave and Sven wants 2 strikers. Hopefully we sign Maynard and loan Yakubu. That would be class

I hope we don't do that. 4-4-2 is our best formation. Sorry, but if we get Yak and all three strikers are fit and able to play, then the Yak's on the bench.
 
Fair enough lads, just thought the Nugent injury might have hindered our chances. The latest rumours are that we've made a bid, though I still think we'll get him in on loan at some point today <ok>
 
Rumours around the Twittersphere that he will sign for Hull on loan - personally I'd rather we just got shot but a loan will do until January I guess.
