Yet many friends and colleagues of mine in the US are absolutely adamant that their guns keep them safe. I'll be honest I love guns. Holding a gun gives you an amazing sense of power. Firing a gun, which I have hundreds or more probably thousands of times, is a thrill. But the thought of every one else being able to have one fills me with dread. Guns don't kill people, people do. But a lot of people are complete cocks.....
