EDGE wise up. It's history, no one gives a ****. It doesn't reflect on you. It was 20 years before crazies turned up outside Ibrox with their Orange sashes on because the club signed a Taig.
2 guys turned up outside the Big Hoos' and that was it. I was at MoJo's first game for Rangers at Ibrox, Rangers v Spurs, Trevor Steven scored the winners, and Gazza and Ian Ferguson were knocking lumps out of each other. The press expected Johnstone to get it tight, which never materialised. I was also at the game where he scored his first Rangers goal, vs Fc Wool nonetheless.
aye Mojo was a legend who crossed the great divide and selflessly turned peacemaker. Surely a testimonial is overdue. He could play one half each for Rangers v Celtic. It was sad he did not succeed but it was not for the want of trying. It was deeply shocking that the Celtic fans have such animosity for a club legend. Equally shocking was Gers fans burning scarves, some of whom even remembered to take them off first. God bless Mojo. We salute you for attempting the impossible.
Wasn't half as gutted as when wee Nacho Novo knocked back our contract offer for two at rangers Haven't ate a Mexican based snack since
