He is (and freely admits it) but he kind of has a point. Both were terrible cases and in the case of Kriss Donald there wasn't the coverage that it deserved. When the likes of Yasmin Alibhai brown start to ask questions about whether this is inverted racism you know things are not as they should be.
That's not to belittle the Lawrence case in any way - the complicity of the old bill was unsurprising but still truly deplorable.

Genuinely didn't recognise the name. Had to look it up. I doubt that's just me being ignorant, either.
So did I. In fairness i wonder how much it had to do with it not happening in london as well. I'd freely admit that stuff going on down here tends to get far more coverage.
1) It happened in Scotland .. I doubt it made the headlines
2) It was a white boy
Not sure it's all down to it being in Scotland. I just stumbled upon a report Ross Parker's murder, as it turns up as a connected incident, due to an equal lack of coverage.
But surely the two cases are different so cant be compared like for like.
