That's nothing for planes these days pops. They do tens of thousands of miles every year. Ryanair has a 22-25 minute turnaround on their flights. You sit down on someone else's pressed butt-print these days.
Supposedly a very reliable aeroplane and quite new? Off to Turkey later in the year and i just hope things don't escalate from here. Something does smell a little fishy on this one as they lost contact straight away.
I put one of these on my front door 2 years ago to prevent the bastards installing a 'smart meter' - despite their threats I still remain the only person down the street who hasn't got one: please log in to view this image
Plane made 'sudden swerves' before crash according to the news. I wonder if they were trying to dodge something?
But neither of the crew didn't have time to radio a Mayday? More likely they were too busy fighting to gain re-gain control of the aircraft. I doubt it was anything external.
Plenty of SAM's can reach that sort of altitude mate, not the MANPAD type you'd commonly see strapped to a jihadi's back but static, vehicle mounted. A swerve would suggest they've been hit by something or there's been an explosion inside the plane that has caused it to shift direction dramatically and suddenly. It's looking more and more like terrorist activity this one, maybe another pilot job. The fact it's landed in the sea isn't gonna help mind, there could be a lot of unanswered questions.
More likely to be an internal explosion. It was probably too far away from any combative areas to be subject to external acts of aggression. They've just found wreckage now.
If it's an internal explosion Paris authorities are gonna get torn to shreds mate, their security is already deemed beyond pathetic as it is.
You should have heard some of the stories my wife had about security at Bangladeshi airports. Horrifying! Almost non-existent in some aspects. They've now got British advisors at the airports trying to train the locals up.
See that's why I won't go to the far east, they don't give a **** about security. Egypt is ****ed as a tourist destination if this is another act of terrorism, add them to Tunisia, third world country over night.
The wreckage has been confirmed as that from the plane in question. The reason I won't have a smart meter is because I am being treated for heart palpitations (AF Atrial Fibrillation's) and it has been proven that the smart meters can effect me. Australia Electricity suppliers however quoted remote examples that they don't, so I simply asked them to give me a statement in writing that they wouldn't effect my health which of course they are not prepared to do so they are not allowed on my property to change the meter and there is nothing they can do about it. In the USA they are decommissioning them as they have been proved to affect peoples health and have been sued for copious amounts of money.
I find myself lacking of sympathy. That in itself id sad. I would not go by choice to these places. Turkey. Egypt etc.
I love Turkey as a holiday destination and would not hesitate to go back there..Egypt, North Africa and other middle eastern countries is another kettle of fish and I would certainly think twice before flying there.
Unconfirmed reports that ISIS are claiming an on-board bomb. France better up their game with security if that's the case.
10pm news saying the debris is possibly from migrant boats in the Med. Don't think anybody knows for definite what's happened, could be weeks before they sort it out.
