Forest have just Tweeted a photo of their new keeper Stephen Henderson. Best of all - it was a FREE transfer. Why? International keeper with time left on his contract, Meire really is unfit to wear a baby's bib, let alone anything else What other Club "sells" BOTH its keepers in the same week at this stage of the f**king season ??
Rumours now that we are signing 38 Year old keeper Stuart Taylor who was released by Leeds. Another quality new signing.
Don't forget we signed Dmitrovic up for another year and loaned him out to Alcorcon. Phillips is off to Cheltenham on loan as well.
No - we sold Dmitrovic to Alcoron today as well Check out their Twitter - he has gone Stuart Taylor really would say it all - the sh1t is being dumped from a great height now they have got 5000 mug ST renewals.
I knew Dmitrovic had left as Alcorcon put it on their Twitter over a month ago. I thought I read that he had signed a contract extension before that so assumed he was loaned there.
AD Alcorcon or whatever they're call, just another Roland club. Bet that was a dodgy deal there, why it wasn't really published on our site
One common response this week from the Apologists when the latest player is flogged is "He wasn't any good anyway" Pope, Cousins, JBG and now Henderson have all been met with comments like this from the mentally challenged surrender monkeys. I wasn't JBG's biggest fan but surely even Stevie Wonder can see we have replaced a full international who played well at the Euros with a 32 year old free agent who struggled at Gillingham last season.
Another one - "you would of driven him to burnley a year ago" So? What the **** does that mean? He seemed to iron out his problems and he put in some excellent performances.
Generally speaking, keepers reach their peak in their late 20s/30s ? I have heard two conflicting opinions about Nick Pope - one from Reams, who branded him from 250 miles away "No Hope Pope", the other from Chris Powell and Ben Roberts at the Club Open Day 3 seasons ago, when they both said that Pope would go to the very top. Who to believe
Releasing Henderson on a freebis an absolute f*****g joke...!! He's a quality international GK. They don't grow on bloody trees. Forest must be f*****g pissing themselves...!!!
Another one from the Apologists on social media post Orient "There are still 6 weeks to go" There isn't. We kick off in 2 weeks. In 6 weeks we will well and truly be struggling and resorting to the now familiar tactic of last min panic signings on loan. When will the penny drop with these people?
I don't think the penny will ever drop. I still don't know what Duchatelet's plans are for Charlton. He is taking us on a downward spiral. I have no idea when we are going to reach the bottom. Whoever thinks that we are going to get promoted with our current squad have been smoking too many Morrocan woodbine's. Our squad needs decent players brought in. A right back, centre half, two midfielders, Goalkeeper, two strikers at the minimum. I reckon we will get a new Goalkeeper and two loan signings.
The only reason for Roland to hang on are spite and cussedness. Or maybe he's upset at finishing second to the Oystons in that poll to find the worst owners in England.
Not according to Sue Parkes, who has posted that she has had 4 really nice conversations with Roland. He listened politely to all of her points and replied in a really reasonable way. I wonder at what point Dot Cotton-Parkes will stop being an Apologist for the two Belgian Arseholes? I reckon the only tipping point would be Chris getting his P45 from the Club - there is nothing that RD could do playing wise that would cause Sue to remove her tongue from his crevice.
Seen today that there was a news shopper article stating, "No guarantees over Lookman" Be another one biting the dust. Really not enthusiastic about the squad or their capabilities. Jeeee-Zeus! Starting to sound like Arsenal fans, only with more reason to whine.
I'm still fuming about Henderson (and the idiots who seem to think giving him away was good business). To be fair, Lookman was a possibility for a sale ever since he burst onto the scene, though I hope he looked long and hard at Poyet last season and took in what a transfer to a big club can produce in a young untried player. However, while Colin and Friends seem to think the mere presence of Russel Slade will guarantee a top two finish, the squad is getting very thin, and selling on another potential great, logically for a give-away price after all the other sales, would really put the cat among the pigeons. Despite Slade apparently getting ready to do battle with Meire, his position on Lookman is that he may well have to let him go. Not giving us much to get excited about really are they?
Anyone who doesn't think RD takes shots at CAFC fans need to look over the press conference earlier this summer when he ''purchased'' Truiden.
