Looks like a Spud. A deluded clown who has just watched its team get the stuffing knocked out of it by 10 unknown Greeks :p

    Happy days :)

We have not been able to beat Chelsea or Man U for ages and City now for the past few seasons. these teams, top teams, sit back and defend against us. I am not talking about any other teams bar the top teams who are happy to change their tactics and formation when they play us and pretty much always get a result against us. We, on the other hand, bang our heads against a brick wall continually, doing EXACTLY what the opposition expect and have prepared for.

No, I am concentrating on the fact that we scored 5 because Chelsea have been shambolic at the back this season. My point is validated by the fact that we struggle to score if RVP doesn't score. If we were free scoring as scoring 5 against Chelsea might suggest we wouldn't have dropped points against Fulham, we have not been creating that many chances and the chances we create are squandered.

We conceded 3 goals against a struggling Chelsea. this seems to be us. Blackburn scored 4 against us, I mean BLACKBURN, WTF !!!

I'm sorry Cym, apparently not. The HotHead has stated the facts. We NEVER beat those teams. They know how to play against us. Every team does.... :emoticon-0107-sweat

Give it up now pal. You've proved your knowledge (and probably age).

Also, try to use the word 'fact' in it's correct manner.

I'm not giving anything up and you would do well to acknowledge your minor victory is just that. 2 recent results does not kill my argument - in 12 or so games against Chelsea and Man U we couldn't beat them - it was only last season that we managed it.

Don't know what the pessimists expect from us...
over the past few years we have invested in a new stadium. We have competed at the top level despite working with limited resources at times.
Granted we have made mistakes. We have sold our best players, we have not managed transfers correctly. We have not invested in areas where we are weak (i.e defense). I counsel you to find me a manager who has never made an error in management, and a football team who is perfect in every respect.
I for one was very enouraged by the performances of our youngsters against the yobs that are Money City. I think we had a bad start to the season but we are improving. Set backs will happen along the way, but the team needs the support of its fans even when the chips are down.

Did the pessimists predict the injuries and suspensions, or the tough start of season fixture list? Then the manager made some great signings, and has turned it around hence its allot fairer to look at the last 12 games when injured and suspended players are available and our signings have developed and come into their own. Therefore Wenger deserves a pat on the back for the job he has done, and the results we should be judging the CURRENT team on prove you wrong.
